Our lightweight & breathable Proteus protector jacket functions as an upgrade for the DIRT Series collection, which is worn under the jersey or various jackets we offer. Ideal stretch, ventilation, & armor allow you to ride protected on the trails less travelled. It’s constructed with a combination of densely woven Hicom mesh on the shoulders, a 2-way spandex mesh body, and PWR|Stretch mesh on the inner area of the sleeves. This combination provides optimal support, airflow, and flexibility. Furthermore, it features our award-winning SEEFLEX™ CE-level 2 protection at the shoulders and elbows. It is also equipped with a SEESOFT™ CE-level 2 back protector and SEESOFT™ CE-level 1 protectors at the chest. Thumb loops at the cuffs along with the stretch cuff will make sure the sleeves won’t slide when you’re putting it on or during riding.

Great body protector
I am 6'2 and 180lbs, and the medium fit good. It is a little on the tighter side but no issues.
I love the coverage on this protector, there is great coverage on the elbows, shoulders, back and chest. The armour feels thick and flexible. I prefered the revit jacket over the leatt 3df one, the armour in the shoulders and elbows felt thin and the chest armour was rolling up or curling on the chest part.
I have used this on 7 rides so far and have only 2 issues, it gets a bit hot wearing this so close to your body but not too bad. The other issue is that my elbows rub on the elbow pads which are a bit on the stiffer side, the more I wear the jacket the less of an issue this is.
I removed the armour out of my First Gear Kilimanjaro jacket and now use the revit as my armour. The armour from the revit jacket is removable and may fit in other riding jackets.

Great option for a more modular kit
I bought this to try out a more customized layered gear set and so far I haven't been disappointed.
The material, while not abrasion resistant, is stretchy and very breathable. I was able to wear a baselayer, and an insulation layer below this with no issues.
It fits snugly, and seems very unlikely to slip or slide out of place. The thumb loops keep the elbow pad and sleeves in position, and there's an elasticated velcro belt inside that keeps the protector secured to your abdomen. A great touch was that the seam at the waist was treated with a grippy rubber or silicone so that it doesnt slip up and bunch up beneath other gear.

Proportion did not work
Did not fit. I am 5’ tall 120 lbs but broad shoulders. Proportion would be better for long lean frame. Padding is also very bulky

Good top, bit outdated
I am happy with this purchase. It has no pockets, so if I'm wearing this with a jersey, everything needs to go in pants pockets, which I don't love. Compared with the Adventure Spec Super shirt (which is a pain to get in Canada), it feels outdated with the super thick, non-breathable bricks of foam protection. I do feel protected though, and I always wear this in warm weather.

Protection that stays in place
This is protection that stays in place. I removed the pads from my textile jacket and wear it over this armored top. I also wear this under a jersey. It ventilates well when on the move. As for sizeing, I'm 6'4, 250lbs, my suit size is 52 long and this XXL fits great.
