                  Description

Without going too much into detail, the Reed SF motorcycle jeans have AAA-level CE certification, which means they're more than ready to take you for a ride safely. Wearing this pair of jeans not only gives peace of mind but they're also spot on when it comes to fashion trends. These jeans have a dark blue rinse and therefore they will go well with almost any type of motorcycle jacket. The inside is finished with a light blue fabric to create the authentic denim feeling. Depending on your style, you can choose a more sportive style and wear sneakers, or wear a pair of sturdy boots if you prefer a more classic look. The fabric we used is a unique single-layer denim combined with a new PWR|Shield fabric that's lighter and feels cooler against the legs, the only material on the market that offers the highest level of protection.

We understand that not everyone has the same leg length, so the included knee protection pocket is adjustable in two different heights. These motorcycle jeans come in two color versions: rinsed with 3D crinkles and a medium blue used. Take on the town with the Reed SF motorcycle jeans. Top level certification with a fashion flare. Who could ask for more?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spectacular, relaxed jeans I just received my second pair of Reeds. I originally ordered a 32x32, which is what I wear in non-armoured jeans, but they were much too small. I opted to get a 36x32 and I wear them with a belt, there’s lots of room to fit in them. 34x32 is probably the perfect size for wearing off the bike, but I kept the 36x32 because I think it’ll be more comfortable on the long hauls. I also ordered these alongside the Newmont jeans as I was unsure what I’d prefer (basically the exact same jeans, just a different fit, and the Reed has the crotch button up instead of a zipper). I ultimately kept the Reed because they fit my legs better. The Newmonts are definitely relaxed fit, but I’ve skipped more leg days than I care to admit, and there was just too much space around thighs, knees, and calves that I thought it might lead to too much movement in a crash. If you’ve got bigger legs and want a relaxed fit, go for the Newmont. If you’ve got small legs or want a slightly tighter fit, and you can handle the button-up crotch, then get the Reeds (I emphasize slightly, the Reeds are by no means tight fitting, I would still describe them as relaxed). In my opinion, the Reed looks more like a normal pair of jeans than the Newmont does —- better for use when off the bike. Beyond the fit, the craftsmanship is superb, the protective inserts are in the right spot, and they’re comfortable. The button-up crotch is not as convenient as a zipper, but they’re still east enough to do up (and even easier than a zipper to undo). Lots of room at the cuff to go around a boot (I would describe ut as boot- or straight-cut, it doesn’t appear to taper in). I could definitely wear them all day long. As for breathability, I just did a ride in 9 degrees Celsius, I’d probably wear long underwear if it got much colder because there is air movement, which bodes well for warmer weather. I won’t know until I can ride again next summer, but based on the air movement, I’d say these jeans will be comfortable till at least the high twenties Celsius, if not beyond. I will still wear them in 35+ degree heat, because I’m a true believer in ATGATT and I believe the airflow will allow for only mild discomfort at those temperatures. But, it’s honestly impossible to not be at least a little uncomfortable at those temperatures. Overall, spectacular riding jeans that really inspire confidence in their ability to protect you in a spill, while still looking like a normal jean. I love them so much that I may end up getting the second colour option too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and well made. Fit was spot on and they appear well made. They look and feel a bit heavier than regular jeans but you could wear these off the bike and be reasonably comfortable. I had to move the knee armor to the higher position for them to feel good on the bike. In the lower position the jeans bunched up and pinched the skin behind my knees. After a few rides these jeans feel like I have owned them for years. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, Good Fit, Feels Sale I have a pair of riding jeans that were from 'Resurgence' which had great protective features, but was not very comfortable. That pair felt restrictive and uncomfortable enough where I avoided wearing them. Since then I tried a few pairs including Joe Rocket but still nothing felt comfortable. There was only one pair that I liked but it lacked many safety features. It was stretchy and comfortable but the material was not a durable one. These Revit Reed Jeans are so much better than the rest I've tried. The really do look like a normal pair of jeans when you are not riding. The ghost armour is super comfortable and flexible so when you're riding you can't even feel them. The jean material feels slightly thicker than regular jeans which makes sense. I can tell that as I wear them they are starting to wear in better and getting even more comfortable. They are pricy but worth it. I had it tailored shorter and more tapered to get it to look even more like regular jeans.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love the material Didn't realize these had button fly instead of a zipper. Also didn't realize the bottoms are so skinny as they are very difficult to wear over boots. These jeans made to worn with running shoes, NOT boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good Good fit. The real reason I bought them was for the CE Class AAA sliding protection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good protection, skinny legs These have lots of protection where you want it, think denim, fits well. I'm 6'1" and 175lbs with size 33/34. Inseam is a little long but fits well when I turn up the cuff to show the reflective band. overall I like the look of the jeans. I don't like buttons instead of a YYK zipper. The jeans are warmer than most because of the thick denim, but on rides it's not much hotter than you'd expect. The knees are wayyyy too tight. The thigh is regular fit but the calves feel like skinny jeans, and I cannot bend my knee past 90 degrees. My foot rests farther forward on my pegs because of it and I cannot shift comfortably. A larger size would not fit me well, I'd recommend 33/32 for my size.

What kind of fit is it?

                  Asked by: bobo
Revit has some weird acronyms for their pants: SK being Skinny, SF being Slim Fit, RF Regular fit and finally LF is Loose Fit. So the Reed are Slim according to Revit. Actually somewhere there are some TF (tailored fit). What does that all mean? I'm not sure... but I hope this helps
