                  Description

The Sand 4 H2O gloves are the go-to gloves for the rider that doesn’t let grey skies and the possibility of rain get in the way of his riding plans. These gloves have been engineered specifically for riding on or off-road during unstable weather conditions in spring, summer or fall. Their foundation is based on the iconic Sand 4 gloves but the design team traded in ventilation for waterproofing. They did that by incorporating a waterproof and breathable hydratex®|Z-liner. The gloves offer almost the same high level of dexterity and feel on the grips and levers as the Sand 4 gloves all while keeping your hands comfortable and dry during the whole ride. Stretch material is used on the top of the glove to increase flexibility and freedom of movement on the controls of your bike. They also feature a new TPR knuckle protector, designed especially for these gloves. Additional protection is provided by TPR sliders on the fingers, thumb and palm. Thanks to the rugged pull tab on the cuff, slipping on these gloves is a breeze and you can secure them in place with the hook-and-loop closure followed by the hook-and-loop wrist strap. We added extra reflective elements on the gloves for increased visibility during inclement weather conditions or nighttime riding. If you want to adjust your route during your journey, the integrated Connect Finger Tip makes sure you can control your touchscreen device with the gloves on. Ride on in the rain.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from My First Rev'IT Comfort Fail I own several Rev'it products and I have nothing but great things to say about all of them. To Date I own: Akira Air Jacket Ignition 3 Pants Sands 3 Jacket Sands 3 Pants Cayenne Pro Gloves (the most comfortable gloves I have ever worn. On to the Sand 4 Gloves. I watched a review of these gloves on one of the other popular gear review channels. They called out only one complaint about these gloves with regards to a change Rev'it made from the sand 3 to the sand 4. I am referring to the changes made in knuckle area of the glove. Specifically the fact that it digs into your knuckles as you curl your fingers around your bar grips. I didn't think it was a big deal and ordered the gloves anyway. When I got the gloves I did notice that the gloves did dig into he knuckles as you clench your fingers. I figured it wouldn't be bad so I went for a ride. After 20 mins my knuckles were in pain from the rubber knuckle protection. For me it is too late to return the gloves so I write this as a caution to anyone else looking at these gloves - They Can Be Painful to wear. Some people may have a different experience as we all come in various shapes and sizes but I am working on ways to correct this issue. I am praying that these gloves break in and loosen up. I also tried a trick from motor cross boot break in and pulled out the hair dryer in an attempt to heat the plastic and stretch it a bit. **Word of warning on heating your gloves. The product care tags on the gloves strongly advise against getting the gloves hot. ie. Hot Water, Dryer etc. I imagine that this could cause the adhesives to separate in the gloves. If you are worried about this happening to you don't risk it! I am prepared to take the chance in hopes of making these gloves more comfortable. So far it seems to have made them better but I wonder if they will get stiff again on a cold weather riding day. Everything about the gloves outside of the knuckle pain is 100% If you have owned rev'it products before you get the same quality you always do. Quality materials, quality protection and quality manufacturing, just a weird design choice in the case of the sand 4.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bloody knuckles The gloves arrived and I tried them on, they fit well. It was winter and I had a couple of months to pass before riding season. The first ride I had immediate regret. My knuckles were raw after the first 10 minutes. I thought they might break in after a while, but they didn’t.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from European fit I decided on these gloves as friend wears them and you tube world traveller, Itchy boots worn them in all conditions. Needed summer adventure glove. Measurement is key. European sizes fit small. Mesure both hands exactly where they show, I went to Revit site to make sure. Always air on next size up. North America riders will be in the XXL range. Tight fitting, knuckle pad on back of glove is thick, protection is initially irritating on knuckles but will break in. Easy to put on has tags to pull on nice wrist velcro keeps them tight. Air flow feels good . You will need to ride them for a while as these are tough gloves. Good safety protection features and finger for touch screens works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for. I followed the size guide when ordering. Was extremely concerned when first put them on as they were so tight. Concerned that the next size up may be too big, I decided to work with them. Soaked them in warm water for five minutes before wearing them on a long ride on a very hot day. The gloves fit my hand perfectly and provide decent dexterity.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect Gloves are made well and look good. The fitment is spot on. As others stated, knuck seems too tight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable, rain resistant, hardly any insulation I chose these as a replacement for my original Revit Summit H2O gloves for spring and fall, and just got to try them out. Overall the comfort is very good, although they need a little breaking in. No issues whatsoever with the knuckles. I rode for about an hour and a half in the rain and when I got home my hands were all dry. But I have to subtract one star because they just aren’t very warm at all. The insulation on the back of the hand is minimal, even though they are described as gloves for spring, summer, and fall. If you like the Revit fit these will be perfect, just be advised you’ll be needing heated grips for part of your season.
