Fits narrow volume foot only!
These did not fit my child's foot despite being the correct length (with insole out there was lots of room for growth).
However my child's fairly average foot was not able to even be inserted into them at all...we had to use skinny slippery soxes (as we ordered on-spec directly from online) to even get them on. They are considerably narrower, with much less instep and toe-box volume, than the comparable kids Fiveten shoes are sized at (or Leatt for that matter).
We were trying the Youth Size 1 (next up from Child's size 13)...so if your child has a very narrow or skinny foot with a very low-volume instep this might be the pick for you (them).
For a more average or larger volume foot stick to Fiveten (widest) or Leatt (medium).
Return process with Fortnine was dead simple! Clicked into the website, easily generated a shipping label...printed it out and stuck it on the same box. At my next lunch-hour I drove to my nearest Purolator depot (Canada Post on Strike) and I had the package scanned and sent away in <30 seconds from crossing their doors. Next day when the return landed at the F9 warehouse the refund was posted to my bank account. Truely best return experience I've ever had! Kudos F9, takes the risk out of trying new products that have an element of "fit" to them. We are living outside of the major centres in a small community, and kids specialty shoes, are just not a stocked SKU at our LBS.
