Low profile
I have the locking one of these as well. I wanted a lower profile one so when I stack luggage on top it doesnt interfere with what’s in my luggage.I currently use kreiga soft luggage. Much better!

Excellent service, and the best price
I found myself needing a second RotopaX mount back in mid-June as I have 2 top-cases for my 2014 V-Strom, and wanted to be able to mount the RotopaX fuel pak to either case.
I shopped online at 4 different retailers, and Canada's Motorcycle had the best price by over 15%.

Good way to secure gas can & storage
I will be attaching this to a rack, then putting on my gas can, and by also using their extension I will be able to attach my storage container which will house my tools, first aid, etc.

Does the job! Quick to install, easy to use!
My panniers were set up so only 2 bolts were required to mount the brackets. Quick install. The base plate allows options for my tail rack or future upgrades.

Bought 2, 7.5 litre containers in the spring.
To start with the second container, on top of the first never snugged up properly leaving it to move around even when tightened up properly.
Took the system off to clean mud off my bike, when the inner sleeve within the mounting baseplate came detached, forcing me to replace the whole system

Great piece of Kit
Used this in combination with the backing plate to secure my 2 Gal rotopax to the stock rear top rack and create more surface area for my soft luggage. Really the bread and butter of the rotopax, easy to attach and remove the fuel container with this. Expect to do some drilling and grinding to get this to work with your stock setup.

Hello, when mounted with included base plate and one gallon rotopax, is it a flush flat surface at the surface? I want to put a tail bag on top.thanks
The "lock nut" sits about 1/2" proud, i use a Wolfman dufflebag as a tailbag, works great, non event with soft bag

Would I use two of these for the 4 gallon?
Yes, it is recommended in the installation manual to use 2 of these mounts for the 4 gallon fuel can.
