          Description

          Features:

          • Camshaft gear drive kits increase valve timing accuracy by eliminating timing chain lash and loosely fitting stock chain drive
          • Reverses the rear cams direction of rotation, providing additional operating clearance between cam lobes; as a result, higher cam lifts are possible with the gear drive kit
          • Kits include cams, inner gears, outer drive gears, inner and outer bearings, gasket and instructions
          • Material must be removed from the inner surface of the stock gear cover to install S&S gear drive cams
          • A hydraulic press and other professional-level tools are
          • required to install these kits
          • S&S recommends that adjustable pushrod/cover kit
          • Cam bearings and gaskets must be replaced when installing new cams
          • Made in the U.S.A
          • Kits require high-performance valve springs
          • Installer must check coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance and valve-to-piston clearance
          • Due to the inherent characteristics of gear drives, you may experience more valve train noise
          • Bolt in cam for 103" and 106" Big Bore Twin Cam motors
          • Use with stock heads (up to 10.2 compression) and low restriction intake and exhaust
          • Great for lighter bikes with strong power from 3500-6000 rpm

Awsome parts.. they fit like they should have been installed by harley in the first place...let's be honest here, harley's chain tensionners are the worst part of the twin cam 88... S&S know there stuff a lot more than harley engenering guys.. sorry. I had to be honest...✌️

          Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best upgrade for the money You don't notice much except for a different kinda sound coming from the cam cover.BUT get up to 3k rpm and give it a wack,all heck breaks loose,hold on,your in for a surprise. Made my 2003 FLHTPI so much more enjoyable to ride and I'm not thinking about when I have to change the cam chain adjusters anymore.

          Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Products from S&S After installing this cam kit in my bike, the motor seems to have a steadier idle and sounds much better. I am a retired mechanic with a well equipped shop, so it was not that hard to do. You do have to be careful in the installation.

          Rated 5 out of 5 by from Je l'adore Très bonne combinaison de cams direct gear et pas plus bruyant que les chaines, fini les troubles de tension...facile d'instalation...Juste s'assuré de respecté la procédure d'instalation...Très facile...J'ai quand même donné une clairance de 30 millièmes tout le tour des lobs de cam...Ils n'était pas indiqué pour le 510 mais je l'ai fait pareil...pour me sécurisé. J'ai un Harley Deuce 2003 monté 1550 avec les têtes porté flow bench, ressort et valves modifié.J'ai également remonté la pression de la pompe a huile avec le ressort https://fortnine.ca/en/feuling-pressure-relief-spring-individual-8018
