It just didn't fit
This was matched as a fit to my 2007 Softail Deluxe. The Backing plate did not line up with the mounting holes of the collar and the oil blow back mounting holes. Also inside the bag of hardware nuts bolts and other parts, there was a broken part. This part would be best described as the cast peace that directs the oil from the motor into the blowback tube.
Part looks good only if it could have mounted on my bike.

Questions
What is the difference between CV & EFI and Stock EFI? what is CV?
On my 08 night train softail it is EFI , the intake is round , on Carb it is square ash there is an adaptor plate available for the S&S teardrop filter that is mentioned before buying it that makes it fit on the EFI setup or otherwise noted the same goes for the carb set up. CV meaning Constant Velocity Harley’s Keihin CV (constant velocity) carburetor is based on the basic Amal slide carb design . And therefore, it shares similar parts which perform similar functions. Idle and just off-idle air/fuel mixtures are controlled by the idle jet which is fine-tuned with a screw.

Will the air cleaner require me to purchase a different gasket to go between carb and air cleaner assembly?
The kit comes with all the mounting hardware you will need, including the gasket.
