Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent large bag with lots of compartments I've had several tail bags over the years and almost all of my riding is long distance. This is a large bag with plenty of functional pockets. The only improvement I would suggest is wheels/luggage handle - especially with as large as this bag is. Someone mentioned it is not water proof - which it isn't. The rain cover isn't suitable for all day rain rides or heavy rain (few bags are). In those instances I've found a garbage bag over it works.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great storage / colour fading (purplish) I bought this bag for my Triumph early in the year and I LOVE IT! Great storage with lots of compartments. Easy to mount and to take off to bring into a hotel. So easy to stay organized. My only complaint is that the fabric sections are fading from black into a dark purple colour. I’m not a fan of that at all, so I’ll likely replace it which is a bummer. My husbands bad is another model that has less fabric, more leather and looks great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing is huge Very versatile when it comes to ways to attach it to the bike. It comes with many straps and adapters so you can pretty much used it on a cruiser or street bike. It also has back pack straps. You can use it attached to a backrest too. Mine is used on the back seat of a HD FLHTK and it fits perfectly there with only using the bottom straps looped around the bag guards. It never moved on a 2,500km trip. Depending how you attach it, Saddlemen provides a pad that can be used as a backrest for the driver. I did not use it , but it appears to be well padded. This bag is cavernous, you can easily pack a week's plus worth of clothes, extra shoes, laptop/iPad (this bag has a padded laptop pocket), etc. there are two separate parts (top and bottom) so you can use it for clean/soiled clothes separation if you want. Which means, it is quite easy to overpack with this bag. The front pocket is an organizer that is really practical on the road for easy access to pens, maps, phone, etc. The construction is ruged, although I experience an issue with the middle zipper. It came undone and split apart, while I tried to open it. It was easily fixed, but still a bummer. Otherwise, I would say it is well made and the fabric is at least water resistant. It does come with its own rain cover. Great bag if you are into long trips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Features There are many ways to install the BR3400. I preferred sitting it on the back seat and using the sissy bar and I used the tie down to my crash bars. I placed the backrest pad in the front pocket and it is very comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent bag i researched t bags for over a month before i bought this one, excellent bag, a ton of storage, i use it over the sissy bar can face either way, but you don't need a sissy bar for this bag, has enough room for me and my girlfriend for a 4 day trip, comes with lots of straps and a lot of extra rings for additional tie downs

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exceeded my expectations Bought this for a 10 motorcycle trip through southern BC and the States. amazing bag. great quality, good straps lots of room. My rain cover showed up with a small rip in it so I deducted one star but I give this 4.5!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic bag I bought this bag before my trip in Gaspésie. It fit perfect on my Harley Davidson sissy bar back rack luggage and you have plenty of room. It's the best bag a ever bought. you can put clothes and other things for two peoples for 1 week vacation. One thing that this bag could improve it is his cover up bag for the rain. It would be better a bigger bag with an elastic band instead of the rope.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exactly the right size i'm looking for. All good. The bag can be better if it had a more solid base (EX. Aluminium) to resist the crushing weight and vibration.

What is the maximum thickness backrest it will adjust to?  Thanks.

          Asked by: Bri178
Hi, This is a universal fit. The strap is adjustable and should fit most backrests on the market. ~Danielle, Customer Service, Canada's Motorcycle

The lock is great so nobody can get into your luggage but if you stop for lunch what is stopping somebody from disconnecting it from your luggage bar

          Asked by: Jobo
As it has backpack straps, you can always take it with you if you stop for lunch. You could also look into additional security such as a cable locks to secure down you gear. However, nothing would stop the most determine person from using tools to remove this or any other gear.
