Saddlemen "Do-It-Yourself" Raw Gel Pads can make any motorcycle seat into a SaddleGel™ seat when installed. These raw gel pads install quickly under the cover of your existing seat saving the cost of buying a new seat or increasing the height of an existing seat with a top pad. The amazing SaddleGel™ material can but cut or shaped to your individual needs. The pad can be inlaid into the existing foam (maintaining original seat height) or simply placed under the original covers of most seats. Simple instructions included.

Awesome upgrade to FZ-07 stock seat.
I wanted to live with this for a while before writing a review. I have a 2015 FZ-07 with the stock seat fitted. This gel pad is fantastic, previously I couldn't ride for more than an hour before it became too uncomfortable. I've done a bunch of 3-4 hour rides since, with no discomfort whatsoever. The size medium is the perfect for the FZ-07, and installation was pretty simple. Obviously, you'll need to cut the pad into a shape that fits the seat. I used a thin piece of dense foam from a yoga mat (cut to the same shape) to cover the gel insert once it was in place, and used duct tape to hold it in position, prior to reinstalling the original vinyl cover. There is a slight impression on the seat, but it's barely noticeable, pic attached. Overall, a cheap and very effective upgrade.

Pretty good seat pad. I’ve just had me seat custome made, new leather and all, so I had them insert this as well. Feels firm, but supportive. Although it’s firm, I’ve noticed a huge difference in terms of vibration damepining and shock absorption. All in all, I’m happy. I would recommend keeping the plastic packing it comes wrapped with on during installation, stuff is pretty greasy, don’t want it to ruin your seat material. Also, like the instructions say, put a layer of padding/foam overtop, that will make it have a softer feel.

A blessing from heaven!!!
Lovin this gel pad!!!
I managed to pinch some nerves in my lower back this past winter shoveling snow and was dreading that I might not be able to withstand any riding this year at all.
However, I am very pleased to tell anyone that by having a gel pad installed in my seat and a sheep skin on top of that, I am able to enjoy riding 200+ kms a day :)
I absolutely recommend this product to anyone suffering from lower back issues and for everyone else for a more enjoyable cruise overall :)

Wonderful product
I purchased the product for my dad who was dying from cancer. He used the pad until two days before his death. He was so thin his bones protruded and the pad relieved all pain and discomfort. Thank you

Super confortable
Le produit est formidable, confortable, bon anti vibration mais il est mal décrit.
Il ne ressemble pas à l'illustration, le moyen est un petit, bleu et coupé plutôt sur le long pour le passager arrière et sans feutre de surface en accompagnement.
J'ai un petit gabarit, je l'ai acheter pour surbaisser ma selle et il est à la limite de convenir.
Attention au descriptif ou à votre fournisseur car l'ajustement de cette pièce est essentiel pour un rendement optimum.

Not a big difference but good.
It's a nice part that is inexpensive. I felt the difference, but it's not a big impact. I would say that is a 25% improvement. Keep in mind it's just an addition and not a remodeling of you seat.

What are the measurements for Large. The Honda AT is 12 wide 7 wide at front (about 12 forward)

is the gel like a liquid if I poke a hole in the pad or cut it will the gel leak out or lose shape? Can an upolsterer sew right through it .
No it will not leak. you can even cut it to shape

What kind of glue does one attach this gel pad to the existing foam to keep it in place? Thx
The gel pad itself has a sticky film on it, But any spray adhesive would work. I did mine through the winter and started riding in May this year have about 6000 k on it and I find it was an excellent choice, very pleased. Hope this helps you.
