Comfy road couch ready to roll
Fit perfectly on my Harley Dyna Street Bob. If you want comfort for long rides this seat is perfect. Balances nice when riding with a passenger and supports my lady's full size grown woman butt.. happy days for all.

Very comfortable
Ive been riding this seat for 2 months now and love it. No longer have any tailbone pain and can now ride for more than 30 minutes with out having to stop and rest for an extended period of time. With this seat I am able to ride until my tank os empty fill up and hop right back on and go another tank full.

Been for a couple rides since l purchased the seat, very pleased so far, no more tail bone aching, seat very comfortable, and looks good. easy installation, done in about 10-15 mins. my wife is really pleased with the seat as well, says it is way more comfortable than the origional

super comfort
I purchased this seat for my 2005 Night Train, it fit perfect with no problems what so ever. The factory seat was only good for about 250km and it was time to rest my butt. Installed it before a 2000 km plus ride WOW what a difference the comfort level was beyond description I only had to stop for gas and nothing else rode 600 kms and my butt wasn't sore at all it was the best trip I have made on that bike. My wife enjoys riding so much more so much more comfort for the passenger Highly recommend this seat for those long rides. The only negative thing I can say is you do sit up slighty higher but that is a small price to pay compared to the comfort level.

Nice Seat
The most I love about this seat is the lower back support. Never had that with the stock one. The wife loves the wider rear seat. I've only put on a few miles and find it rather stiff. Maybe that'll work it's way in later. It also seems my upper back pain has disappeared. Very impressed the OEM rear riders strap can be installed. The seat bolted right up to the frame with a little tweak. It wouldn't click into lock position so I put a couple washers under the original locking device to raise it closer to the bike frame and it works fine. I am happy I bought this!

I should have bought this years ago
I always knew that the factory seat on my Honda Shadow 750 ACE wasn't great. When I researched the bike and purchased it used 5 years ago, I looked at replacement seats but I was always shocked at how much they cost. Well, even though I still think they're a little over-priced, I've come to the conclusion that a replacement seat is one of the best investments you can make when upgrading your ride. I used to have to stop and rest my butt after about 30 mins. My back would ache and I was painfully aware of how bad my seat was. After years of deliberating over the purchase, I finally took the plunge... and I'm so happy that I did. My first test was a multi-day road trip in which I happily sat in this new saddle for hours without complaint. It literally changed the way I ride and significantly increased the enjoyment level of this as a hobby. I always put up with the bad seat... thinking it was just me and that changing the seat couldn't make that big a difference. Boy, was I wrong. I must say that installation wasn't as easy-breezy as they let on. The instructions were sparse and a lot was left to the imagination in regards to the fitment for my particular bike. At first, I panicked a little as it clearly did not fit at the front but spreading the bottom out and putting all my weight on it finally caused it to go down far enough for me to wedge the tab into place. Still, the back tended to want to flip up instead of sit down because of this and even after screwing it in place, the fit is less than perfect with spots where I can slip in a finger between the seat and the frame. The seat is on correctly, as far as I can tell, but it's clear that it has been made to work with many different bikes and some determination is required. I got the model with the driver's back rest and I highly recommend it but it's installation also required some creative fiddling. All in all, this is a great way to increase the enjoyment of your ride and, if you're even a little mechanically inclined, it's totally something you can do yourself on the Honda Shadow. I highly recommend it. I will also note that the picture that is often used shows a passenger back rest as well and that is not the case. If you look up the model number on the Saddlemen website, you'll see the correct configuration that is being sold here.

Exactly the right fit!
I bought this item about a month ago, it arrived about three days later and fit perfectly to my 2007 Honda Shadow Aero VTC750. Right away I/ we felt the difference in our ride, so much more comfortable. It was broken in quickly maybe two days. The best thing no more lower back pain the lumber support did the trick.

will I be able to install this seat while keeping my passenger backrest and carrier on my 2000 v-star 1100 classic?
I have this seat installed, and do have the stock backrest and carrier on my 900 Custom Vulcan. It fits just touching the backrest poles, not pressing into the seat though. Hope that helps.

Will I be able to keep the passenger backrest and carrier. I've a softtail deluxe 2010 (FLSTN).
Not sure if this helps but I was able to keep my backrest and carrier on my 2006 kawasaki Vulcan. Good luck!
