Nicely built, low key riding pant
First off, these riding jeans look like your run of the mill normal denim pants, so they're VERY discreet (which is a great selling point). The Kevlar lining on these is impressive, because it runs the full length pant both front and rear with integrated mesh pocket for removable knee pads (included), and lower calf boot protection. The denim is thick and a almost black wash when they're new. If I'm going for a boot around town, these are the pants I consistently go for unless they're covered in bugs.
The pockets are a good size and fairly deep, I've never lost anything out of them while riding. I normally wear a 29-30 in almost every pair of jeans I own (Volcom, Levis, Mavi, DC), with these Scorpions a 30 fit perfect. They are a loose fitting pant, with almost a boot cut to them without being baggy.
The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating is because the supplied removable knee pads are bulky and uncomfortable to have in.. added to that, but on a hot day if your sitting in traffic you can almost feel your blood boil due to the full length Kevlar lining and thick denim... but lets be honest, it's no worse than leathers. I'd rather be hot than unprotected. As a matter of fact, I'll probably buy a second set of these because they're just that good.

A few things to take note of..
These appear to be a well made pant. Stitching seems good, and they are actually quite comfortable straight out of the box. As far as sizing goes, they match up perfectly with my jean waist size and inseam. So order your true size! In terms of bagginess, I am able to wear my Spidi XPS race boots and Dainese V E1 N knee/shin guards underneath the jeans, and still sit comfortably on the bike. Meaning, they are NOT a tight fitting pant around the legs. I also used the ICON D3O armour in the hip pockets instead of the SAS-TEC, and it fits perfectly fine. Ps. the blue is a very dark blue

Great Value. Looks good with adequate protection
i bought a pair of these jeans a few weeks ago. Look great and feel great with one exception. The velcro in the knee area rubs against the skin with movement. This irritates the skin after a few hours. Not an issue when on the bike, mostly when sitting at a table or desk. I wore them to work and nobody would know they were riding jeans. They looked good and although I have not tested them, and hope I never do, they seem to be very protective in case of a fall....

Good comfortable jeans
I wanted a pair of riding jeans that looked like jeans. These look and feel like regular jeans only with the added protection.

My Favourite Jeans
I grabbed my first pair of these a few years back and since then I now own 3 pairs. I havent tested them sliding on pavement yet but they hold up great to everyday wear and tear.
I just love how they fit and look like a regular jean so you dont have to be "that guy" wandering around off the bike looking like you missed the door for the race track pits.

Works for me!
I've had these for a few weeks now and am very happy with them. I bought a pair of the black ones, but could easily see myself getting a blue pair to mix things up. The reason I didn't go five stars is just a little thing, really. The way the waist fits, if I don't have a belt cinched fairly tight, I'm showing off a lot of plumber's crack whenever I crouch down. Won't be much of an issue for me, as I usually keep a shirt tucked in while riding anyway. Three stars for air flow because, well, they're jeans - and heavy ones at that - so what would you expect? I'm giving four stars for protection because they'll help with the slide but not with the bump (out of the box, anyway). Value, well, I think these products are all expensive and I narrowly missed the last sale on these, but they are still reasonable compared to their competition.

Will icon d30 knee pads fit?
Yes, the Icon D30 knee pads will fit in the Covert Jeans

I just purchased these pants, but the knee armour falls way below my knee, even in the highest setting. I do have a short inseam for my height. Does that mean these pants are a write-off for me?
Great pair of riding jeans. I took the armour out, for cumfort. I would not write them off
Cheers
Have a great riding season

will these jeans fit icon d30 knee pads?
Yes, that’s what I use in mine, in fact.

Are the knee and hip pads include
No. Just pockets for pads.

Will these jeans fit over top of ADV boots?
As per the manufacturer, the cuffs of the jeans can accommodate some thin profile boots, but aggressive thicker riding boots may be too wide for the jean cuffs to go over.

I wear a 36 waist and 32-34 leg (Levis and Wranglers) and I am unsure what size to buy. Some say they fit exactly & others that say they fit small and to go with one size up. Are they inconsistent? Please provide some guidance on this so I can order.
They fit like a relaxed fit jean, but if you need more room in the seat and thighs you will want to size up. I am usually a size 34, but because I have a larger than average lower body I sized up to a 36. They fit comfortably with a bit of room to spare.
