Works well
My Exo-AT950 would fog up very easily. SO I bought this shield and it has completely fixed the helmet for me. It slightly reduces the field of view, but is thicker and double walled, so it actually seems quieter as well. Perfect for our rainy winters on Vancouver Island.

Foggy or not Foggy? That is the question
Easy installation... Started to fog as soon as the shield went down... To a point where visibility turned really bad... Lift the shield... Still foggy... My visor and glasses were the culprits... Dual Lens Shield works perfect.... So the answer is: Not Foggy

J'ai acheté cette visière en février et je l'utilise depuis le mois de mars, dans le froid, la pluie, la nuit. Ça vaut vraiment la peine, ma visière originale de Exo-AT950 embuait vraiment beaucoup en toute condition à l'arrêt ou en roulant à basse vitesse par temps froid ou frais. Maintenant, même à une température de 3 degrés Celcius, la visière ne fait plus aucune buée. La vision périphérique est un petit peu réduite de chaque côté (environ un quart de pouce, mais ce casque offrait déjà une très grande vision périphérique alors, elle reste excellente même si elle est amputée un peu... Et c'est 2 fois moins cher qu'une Pin Lock...
Je recommande très fortement!

Installed the dual lens shield on my helmet works great in the cold with no fogging would recommend this shield for snowmobiling or fall or spring bike ride on cold mornings

Cost efficient cold weather fogging prevention.
I bought this after being rendered blind by fogging on my first cold weather ride in the rain. It’s an effective solution, and it’s way cheaper than a pinlock system.
It is bulkier than a pinlock, and has a slightly smaller field of view on the sides owing to the design of the bubble. I don’t find it to be an issue, as the field of view on the AT950 is so large to begin with, I’m merely noting that there is a minor difference as this isn’t disclosed elsewhere.
It works well on its own, but I came across an AT950 cold weather kit for cheap, which has chin curtain an nose piece that for a breath box, sucking the air in the through the front vent and out of the back. This setup now renders me impervious to cold weather and rain.
The breath box also works well to mitigate fogging in a cool summer rain with a regular shield, where the temperature disparity caused by the cool rain causes the humidity from your breath to fog the shield.
While there were some reviews complaining about the breath box causing pressure on the bridge of your nose, I don’t know what they were talking about. There’s wire in the nose piece, bend it to fit your nose, and it makes a perfect, form-fitting seal, absent any discomfort.
I’m happy with each of these items independently and as a combo.

Exactly as needed
This is a direct replacement for my heated shield , which is not needed for warmer seasons. Dual pane works great for preventing lens from fogging up. I recommend this product

Not sure if I know how to ask the question. Do I need a pin lock shield first to install this or is this complete and ready to use dual pain kinda shield. ?
This is a ready to use dual lens shield. It is designed for winter use. The two separate panes help to minimize the amount of fogging on the shield in cold temperatures. Essentially, it works the same way that a dual pane window does. The two shields are separated by a thin layer of gas. The layer of gas acts as an insulator and helps to prevent heat transfer, which creates condensation on the shield in cold temperatures.
