Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great helmet I love the look of this helmet. The pictures on the site are true to the actual product. The fit is a little big but I have a small head. So I added some extra padding and it's all good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific Helmet I bought the 3/4 version of this helmet first, for cold weather. Loved it, so came back and bought this 1/2 version for regular daily riding. Size chart is exactly right so my fit is perfect. Would be nice to have a quick-release chin strap. Scorpion does add a tag-strap to the D-rings which helps a lot for getting it off your head.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great helment Just got it and is great. Only wish it had the push and snap down visor. It is hard to get down with gloves on. Other than that 100%.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My warm weather scorpion helmet! I bought one of these for riding on warmer days, breeze in your face. I have a scorpion exo 900 modular for the early morning and cooler rides. I love this has the drop down sunscreen. Another reviewer said he had to pull it down? You shouldnt have to. You press not pull the tab and it works great. Only thing i dont like is the flaps that go inside the helmet against top of ears can feel a bit rough at first. Make sure they are tucked up. I likely wont wear the pads anyway. I wear ear plugs so not counting on them for sound reduction. I'm a large by guide but got a 2xl. Fit snug but not tight

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Usually, I ride with a full-face modular helmet, however I like to carry a half-helmet for very hot weather or short errands. My last such helmet was a Scorpion EXO-100, which has been discontinued. While this helmet is a product replacement for the EXO-100, it is actually inferior in a couple of respects. First, the lining of this helmet does not offer the padding and comfort of its predecessor. A thin fabric liner material is stretched over the hard interior foam shell. There are a number of points where the interior shell make contact with my temples and the top of my forehead. Quite uncomfortable. The EXO-100 had a nice padded liner and was quite comfortable in comparison. Next, the EXO-100 had a removable ear/neck curtain which made it nice in cool weather and provided reasonable noise suppression for a half-helmet. The EXO-110 has removable ear pads, which provide much less comfort and almost no noise suppression. They are useful for headset speakers, but that is about it. The drop-down sun visor is much the same as the one on the EXO-100, however while the one on the EXO-100 was spring loaded (push to drop, push to retract) this one needs to be pulled down by grasping the tab on the side of the visor. Ventilation is good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job. This was a second Scorpion half helmet to replace a dropped one. The model changes seem to make the helmet ride higher on the head than the older model of the same size. As I am on the cusp of Med, a large may have fit better. The vents and small visor are an improvement, however this model does not come with a zip off cool weather liner as previous model. Too bad. The flip down sun shield works as described. The communication ear pockets are the small side. What is delivered for the quality, weight, and comfort Scorpion could have done better.

are the 'ear curtains' same as a zipper in and out lining or something total different ?

Asked by: Djlen
The "ear curtain" portion you are referring to is attached to the helmet, and is not removable. It is separate to the helmet lining itself.
