Awesome helmet after breaking it in!
I bought this after totalling the R-710 in an accident which kept my head totally safe. I wasn't sure about this helmet when I first got it. It fits tight like other Scorpion helmets which I like. However, I could feel a pressure point on the lower left side of my jaw because of my coms device microphone. I was on a long distance trip and after a few days of riding and breaking it in the pressure point finally dissipated and disappeared. Also, there was a terrible wind whistle at high speeds and I couldn't figure out why. Turns out you have to snap the visor shut to make it seal properly which is easily done by putting a thumb on the bottom edge of the helmet while pulling down on the visor tab. The sun visor is a great added feature as well. My only slight issue is the wind noise overall. Scorpions just aren't as good as my HJC helmets for noise.

Replacement Lid
I bought this helmet to replace my EXO-900 after an accident. So this was a must buy, and as Scorpion has never done me wrong I decided to stick with them.
To start:the fit is tight! I followed the sizing chart and as my 900 was a Large and the Scorpion website indicated I should take a Large, I was questioning my tape measure and thinking maybe an Extra- Large would have been better. Being stubborn and going with my gut I stuck it out and after a couple of hours in the prairie sun it sweated in perfectly, except for the cheek pads that is. Hopefully a couple more hot day rides and that will sort itself out.
My biggest gripe with this helmet is the noise level. Compared to the now discontinued EXO-900 this helmet is at least twice as loud. All I hear is the wind noise around the face shield (yes, its locked down) and to turn it up to concert levels I just open the top vent and get the roar of the wind in a tunnel. If you are wondering if this means it has good ventilation, you would be right. I have never had a full face or modular keep my head so cool.
So, after 6 or 700 km's I would have to say I am happy with this helmet and to kill the sound of the wind tunnel - I just turn up the tunes on my headset a little bit louder.

Everythings seems fine so far - No problems
The fit is good, the pads on the cheek areas is a bit tight but hoping it will work in. The aerodynamics is good on the highway, I ride a Harley with no fairing. The little mesh chin piece did not stay in place and continually fell out for me so I don't use it. The face shiel and the inside shield both slide open and closed nice and easy. Overall happy with the helmet.

Mediocre at best
I own a few scorpion helmets and this is by far the biggest piece of garbage. The wind noise is crazy loud, the fit is unlike other scorpion helmets, the sunvisor rubs against my nose and the wind buffering makes you feel like a bobble head anything over 100kmh. This should be priced at $69 because anything over that is a rip off. Put your money towards a better helmet. This is the last scorpion helmet I will ever buy. Absolute Garbage

Best helmet I have ever worn
I received this helmet today and wore it out for the first time. This is by far the best helmet I have ever owned. I’ve always worn a small and it was a little tight putting it on but man, once the helmet was on it felt great! I love the modular feature and the drop down sun visor that works with prescription glasses. It was the first time I didn’t get that annoying “wind wobble” at highway speeds. After an hour of riding it still felt great, less noise from the bike as well. I would highly recommend it!

Questions
My head measures 60.5cm, so by the chart, I would probably get XL? The Scorpion size chart suggests going one size up full face helmets, so I'm wondering if that would apply to modulars. The only review says it fits small.
Yes, we would still recommend going a size up than usual.

I seen some reviews on this helmet that it fits tight in the cheeks can you buy thinner cheek pads for this? Incase the fitment is too tight
Yes you can order cheek pads here: https://fortnine.ca/en/scorpion-exo-at950-gt920-cheek-pads
Please note that these cheek pads are only interchangeable between size XS-LG helmets and XL-3XL helmets. If you want thinner cheek pads, select a larger size since a larger size helmet has thinner pads to accommodate a larger face.

Does this helmet come with a bag?
Yes, a soft shell bag to "protect it" it's not fancy put it prevents dust to get on it while it's in the garage

Does it come with a clear visor? Kinda pointless to have a smoked one if it has flip down sun visor...
As per the item details, this helmet ships with the clear faceshield only (shown with optional tinted shield).

Can you ride with this helmet open as well legally?
Yes you can

any input re how this helmet deals with prescription glasses?
Don't wear prescription glasses, but always wear sunglasses. Works fine, visor is slightly close to glasses frames, but works for me. Glasses go on and off easily.

My head size is 57cm, according to your size chart i should get a Medium, but i also hear i should take a size up, so a Large what is your recommendation. If it doe not fit what is the return policy. thank you
I'm usually an XL but I did what they recommend and went 1 size up and it fits well... even a little tight. Go 1 size up. Worst case, you can send it back.
