Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice and light, but fits a tad small Bought the helmet using the sizing chart and I find the one I bought a little bit too snug. Not a big deal but consider when ordering. I really like how light it is and everything feels as thought it was well built. An odd comment, but the air vent on the top acts as a bug scoop if there are a lot of them out at night. Don't know how they would fix this but though I'd throw it out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent helmet One Saturday in July I bought myself a birthday present and got this helmet. Shipping was very fast. Helmet came in on the next Thursday. At first I was very upset. I couldn't even get it on, the neck roll wouldn't fit around my head. Finally got it on and have been wearing it for about a month anytime I'm on the highway. I got the 2XL and it does not move when it is on. While the neck roll has compressed it is still tight putting it on and off, I have to wear a balaclava to make it slide on and off easier. I tried it with and without the neck curtain and did not notice a difference in noise level. Air flow is much better without the neck curtain in it. The top and chin vents work well and I have not felt hot in the helmet despite some up to 8 hour days on the bike, and wearing a neck tube and balaclava, plus having a big beard. Noise level is much better compared to my Scorpion Covert, but that is to be expected. Airbags are a nice touch and do help make the helmet quieter when inflated, and help secure it in place. Tinted visor works excellent and I have no issues with how far down it goes. I have not noticed the main visor clasp interfering with vision when the visor is open as some have complained. My only issue is that it is so tight to put on or take off, that is not the helmets fault but simply my head size. If you can handle the tight on and off, or dont mind wearing a balaclava to help slide the helmet on/off easier, then I highly recommend this helmet. Super light weight (3lbs), quiet (I still wear earplugs), built in tinted visor, reasonable price, ECE rated, and a very reasonable price for a quality helmet then you can't really go wrong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my Melon! I’ve had the terrible experience of testing out the safety certifications on this helmet, and I must say, absolute life saver. It was raining and I hydroplaned on the highway as the cars in front abruptly came to a stop and I low sided at 100 km/h and hit the rear of a stopped suv. My legs and body passed under the bumper and my face is what stopped me. Friction did not do much to slow me down because of the rain, I probably hit the car at around 80 km/h. It felt like was uppercutted by prime Mike Tyson, but I had no broken nose or teeth, nothing! I really enjoyed wearing this helmet as it was extremely comfortable and the air fit system works wonders for those more spirited rides. The anti fog shield that comes in the box is good but I would still install the pinlock shield that comes with the helmet if I was you. I can’t say much about wind noise as I wear earplugs, but with the earplugs in the wind was extremely quit. For the price range that this helmet finds itself in, it is in my opinion, the best choice. I will definitely buy another Scorpion helmet as my next. Thank you for giving me another chance Scorpion!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very satisfied Bought this helmet blind, based on the review by Ryan and positive experience with the Scorpion brand (I have one of their jet helmets). All the features are as advertised, it's super light. I especially like that it's comm-ready and that the ventilation works like a little air conditioner for the top of my head. No break-in needed either, I took it out of the box and left for a 2000 km ride, and the fit was perfect. Vibrations at high speed are present but minor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressed! I bought this to replace another Scorpion lid (Exo-T510). I like their helmets because they fit glasses really well and the drop-down sunvisor is super convenient. I wasn't sure about dropping 500$ on a helmet but I have absolutely no regrets. In brief: It's lighter, more streamlined and comfortable (I feel less like a bobble-head), field of vision is noticeably better, ECE rating is better than just DOT, all the mechanisms are smooth and sturdy, finish is very sexy. All in all it actually makes riding more enjoyable for me! Cheers to the folks at Fortnine for great service and keeping us Canadian riders kitted out with awesome gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best helmet I've owned I bought this helmet in the off season and just had an opportunity to use it for the first time. I am SHOCKED!! at how light and comfortable this is. The road noise is virtually nothing and there is no buffeting at high speed. I have owned HJC, Shoei, Icon and Bell helmets in the past and this by far out shines everyone of them in every category. I wear glasses and have always struggled to find a helmet that allows to put on my glasses with ease, Scorpion has done it here too. I encourage anyone and everyone to find a fault with this helmet because I can't.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Très bon casque léger. J'ai acheté la casque il y a 1 mois et très satisfait. Fait beaucoup de kilomètre et pas d'inconvénient ou d'inconfort. Le air fit système fonctionne très bien. Pour moi que du positif.

There are 3 shell sizes but you offer 6, what are the real shell sizes?

                  Asked by: steven123654
Shell size is different to helmet size. Helmet manufacturers may produce one shell size for all the small fitments, another for all medium and a third larger shell moulding for all larger helmets. The size of the padding then varies between sizes. In this case XS through MD share a shell, XL through 2XL share sizes, and L gets its own shell.

I'm right in between a medium and large size, which size should I get?

                  Asked by: Peyton
Yes, definitely size up. I wear a size L in most helmets but went with an XL in this helmet and it fits perfect.

Looking for a full face helmet with very low wind noise. Something budget friendly I ride a 2010 VFR with stock windshield.

                  Asked by: Rob 37
Due to the surface finish of the carbon fiber, this helmet is not very quiet. I do find that it creates turbulence at speed. Other than that, this helmet is a superb value and great quality. I would not hesitate to buy another.

Does the shield on this helmet have multiple opening positions or just open and closed? I rarely ride with a visor in the closed position unless it's very cold.

                  Asked by: Solo2
The shield has multiple detents, but they are weak. If you try to leave the shield open just a couple of cracks it will be blown closed when you get up to speed.
