Colour not quite accurate
Good shield, bought the "ruby" colour. Showed up and looked practically clear in the package, but when installed on the helmet it looks good. Colour is nothing like the image on site, see photo for reference.

I love Gold.
Haven’t taken it out yet, but dang she pretty sitting on my Exo.
Looks well made, the latch is better aligned then the one that came with the helmet and strong enough to withstand the manhandling it took to pop it on.
Perfectly hides my tears when the Celine playlist starts on those longer… lonelier rides.

Good shield if Fortnine sends you correct fitment
I bought this item for my Scorpion EXO1400 Carbon helmet (bought in Canada), I selected the right option on the website but when item came it was not correct for the helmet. Fortnine finally realized I was correct after numerous pictures were sent and obtained another one from vendor. Apparently there must have been a batch that had the ratchet tabs in the wrong spot. These shields were marked w the identical markings to my clear and pinlock visor. Fortnine paid for return shipping and after a month delay I got my correct visor. I think they should have discounted the price slightly for the delay as I discovered an issue they had not yet learnt about. The age-old is great on sunny days, I love the tint and look however once it gets darker one will want to swap out to a clear visor when riding as I plan to do since I have a day bag strapped to my passenger seat which can carry a spare clear visor. Swap out takes all of a minute. Fair price, works well if correct, I like it. 4 stars for service 5 stars for product, I think it could have been resolved quicker.

Mirror visor, worth the wait.
Waited a while for the visor to come back in stock, but it was worth the wait. Very happy with this purchase. Easy enough to install. The tint is not too dark for shorter rides at night. Finger prints are pretty noticeable but that seems to be common with mirror visors, easy to clean and no scratches after one season of use (daily commuter)

Summer necessity

Fit good and works as it states, i got the silver visor and was a little disappointed that it was a pretty dark tint. I was hoping that it wouldnt be a darker tint but rather a silver reflection this way i can still see through it almost as good as the clear visor, but other than that it fits perfectly.

Are these visors see through from the exterior or are they more transparent?
Depends on the color you go for. The clear will be transparent, the tinted less so, and the mirrored even less so.

Is this pinlock ready? Does it require a pinlock?
I would like to know if the Lens Dark Smoke on the website are more Dark than the Original Lens of Scorpion Exo R1. Because mine look like Light Smoke. Thank you
The dark smoke lens would have the same tint as the dark smoke lens provided with the purchase of the R1 helmet.
Note: accessories provided by Scorpion may differ on the model of the helmet
ie. One version of the R1 helmet may receive a clear and dark smoke shield, while another R1 helmet may only receive a clear shield. Please ensure to read the descriptions of each product.
