Not as dark as expected!
I bought these for a trip to Costa Rica. It’s the dry season and the sun is up from 0600 until 1800 daily, with the seldom cloud. I was buying those to shield my eyes from the scorching sun but they don’t really get dark. There’s a slight tint when exposed to the sun, but they’re far from being as efficient as photocromic shields or goggles from competitors. But they’re really comfortable.
