The 10Upad is available in 3 different models for the HJC IS-17, HJC IS-MAX2, and Shoei RF-1200 helmets (Sizes S-XL). It offers all of the functionality of a Sena Bluetooth headset, but is completely invisible from the outside of the helmet. Take and make phone calls, listen to GPS navigation, stream and share music, talk to other riders through 4-way intercom and more all through the 10Upad. An impressive 10 hours of talk time allows for more freedom on the road.
Snap in the 10Upad and you're ready to ride
Created with integrated unibody design, the 10Upad can be installed into your helmet with ease, creating an integrated HJC IS-17, HJC IS-MAX2, or Shoei RF-1200 headset. Simply snap in the right and left cheek pads and you're ready to ride. The tri-button control is located at the lower part of the left cheek pad for easy access while riding. No longer will speakers and a microphone have to be installed into the helmet, simply place the cheek pads inside of your helmet and you're good to go.

For a more comfortable riding experience for your individual style, you can control your headset wherever and however best suits you. Control the 10Upad from your wrist, your handlebars, the body of your motorcycle, or any other way you can imagine. Place the control where you prefer to easily see and access it with any accessory from our extensive line of optional remote controls. The 10Upad is compatible with all Sena headset accessories including Handlebar Remote, Wristband Remote, RC3, and RC4 (sold separately).

Linking the 10Upad with the Sena Headset App (for iPhone and Android) allows you to configure device settings and access our quick guide at the click of a button. Cost effective
After reviewing several helmets I chose the HJC 17 for looks and features. I came from an Icon, which is great, after I lost a lot of weight. Needed something a little smaller. Fit just snug enough. The Sena installed easily and straight forward controls. With the Sena installed, it is a little too snug by 15% but I take my time putting the helmet on and off. Sena is Loud enough over my pipes and wind from the helmet. The helmet is very noisy due to the front shape but the Sena seems to work well. Good unit. Hope it lasts awhile..not like the Hawk 2.

Easy to install and works as advertised excellent
I bought a new HJC modular helmet a couple of months ago and when I got the Santa can you Bluetooth it literally changed my life it's an excellent product the first time I received a phone call when I was riding it was easy to use it's easy to hook up to your phone for the music which I listen to constantly... I guess if I have one criticism it's that I would like better speaker quality it's okay but it could be better in the low end. Certainly a wonderful product none the less I would buy it again in a minute

Works great!
The sound quality is not bad, but when your dealing with ambient sound, but that is to be expected. when taking a call, the other person can barely make out that you are on your bike and racing down the road at all. My battery was not keeping a charge, but Sena has taken care of that. The install was easy enough, but I recommend watching the install video first. Overall, I’d buy Sena again!

Amazing product
Just got mine in the mail last week and it works perfrctly! Pairing with your phone is super easy. The only downfall of the simple design is that there are ALOT of button combos to access different features (radio, phone, music, pairing, settings etc...). I am sure with time I will get used to them. Nonetheless the 3 buttons are really easy to press while riding even with gloves on.
Overall I am super happy with this product! Works great.

Love it when it works
Install was a breeze. Factory fit. The sound is good. However it’s been acting up and now going to contact Sena hopefully for an exchange as I like the product. For some reason the buttons aren’t working correctly as they should. Very annoying when you’re trying to operate the thing when riding and it takes away from your concentration. If no adjustments needed while riding is fine however I don’t feel that it’s working correctly

Works GREAT !!
I actually bought the wrong set for my helmet but the I returned it and got the correct one. I bought this about a month ago as any of my friends that have a Bluetooth system for their helmet also use Sena so it made sense for me too. The install and setup was super easy. The fitment works for my head. I didn’t find it was any more tight than the original cheekpads (probably because my helmet is relatively new).
The sound quality is good. On phone calls, the other end doesn’t even notice that I am riding, even with my loud exhaust. I really like the fact that the unit is concealed and I don’t have a bulky unit sticking out of my helmet or that I have to run a bunch of wires and hide/tuck them in the lining. It’s as easy as just snapping the cheek pads in. Although I don’t have some features as other models that have the exterior unit, it works great for calls, listening to music and even the radio.
At first, I was unable to sync up with friends and their Sena units but once I upgraded the firmware, i was able to use the Sena app and was able to link up with friends. It’s a great purchase and I’d recommend this for sure if you have a helmet that works !!

Le son est super !!
Je viens à peine d’acheter ce produit et j’ai installé ce dernier dans mon casque MAXII et s’installe comme un gant. Le son est vraiment bon... je suis même étonné. Le seul bémol est de comprendre comment utiliser les 3 boutons car les instruction de base fournies avec les pads sont difficile à comprendre. La fonctionnalité est un peu difficile mais je vais sûrement m’habituer à la longue...

Terrible fit.

Yes it will. My helmet is from the same year, but that doesn’t matter. The IS-17 is always the same. Just make sure you get the size that matches your helmet.

Would this fit a CL-17? The normal cheek pad look to be the same to buy, so maybe this is doable too?
No. this item is specifically listed for the HJC IS-17 models, and there other options available for the HJC IS-MAX2, and Shoei RF-1200 helmets, but this is not recommended for the CL-17.

What is the bottom fabric? Would the added chin curtain stick to that?
The bottom fabric is a smooth, lightweight vinyl type of material. I have not had problems with the chin curtain sticking to it.

Is there a specific part # for the headset that is compatible for the rf1200? Or are they all universal?? Thanks
Sena only make these for HJC IS-17 and HJC IS-MAX2 helmets. It is a nice fit. For other helmets I would suggest looking at the Cardo SmartH Headset. It is very slim and will fit most helmets.
