Great Coms units
I bought the Sena duo pack a couple months ago after having the Cardo packtalk units. We originally had older sena units and wanted to upgrade. We found that the Cardo units were cumbersome to use with the little buttons they use, that the sound quality was less than admirable and just not easy to use. We sold the Cardo units and replaced them with these Sena ones and are really enjoying them. The sound quality is great, the reception is great, as well as easy to use especially when wearing gloves. Thanks Sena !

Son impeccable et facile d’utilisation !
J’ai acheté un ensemble de 2 système de communication car moi et mon conjoint étions tanné de nous parler avec des signes ou d’arrêter sur le bord des routes pour être en mesure de se parler.
Il est maintenant super facile de communiquer ensemble et c’est également super pratique d’avoir accès à de la musique en roulant, tout en ayant accès aux fonctionnalités de Siri (produits Apple). Le son est très clair et d’une qualité exceptionnelle avec Harman Kardon.
Compatible avec des produits d’autres marques, nous pouvons également communiquer avec nos amis motocyclistes avec le mode Mesh. Aucun regrets !

Excellent little unit
Install was easy (I found a YouTube video with some dude putting this exact unit in the same helmet I own) works great…although I mostly use it for music.

VOLUME IS NOT LOUD ENOUGH
This is very poor music quality and volume. If you want a rock concert in your helmet, buy a cardo. If all you want to do is connect group intercom, then this unit is fine.

Lots of Hype, Little to be Impressed about
I had a Sena SF4 on my previous helmet and was very pleased, with the cost and functionality of the unit. After obtaining another helmet, I thought I’d splurge for the best of the best, and try the 50S HK, as it was advertised with amazing sound and seamless features. After installing, and using it on a 800km trip, I can safely say it is actually more difficult to use, and sounds poorer than the SF4. At over twice the cost. Sure, it hooks up nice with the app, and comes with a fancy box and lots of goodies. But for around $600, I’d sooner get a pair of AirPods and be better off for sound quality. It’s too quiet, speakers are no better than the standard HD ones, and I find the toggle dial hard to operate with bulkier gloves. If I were to save any of you some money, don’t fall for the Harmon Kardon BS, it’s no better. Grab a regular 50S, or a lower model and get the same performance. Not a bad unit overall when we’re looking at it’s intended job, comms are always good, but it’s the cost and underpromised quality that leaves me with a bad taste in my ears.

Awesome unit
I bought one of these units a few months ago. The first unit that showed up had a faulty board, but stuff happens and you can't guarantee %100 perfection in mass production. Sena and fortnine customer service were top notch and sorted it all out very quickly. I had another unit within no time and was enjoying rides with quality music, comms with my friends and also the open mesh to make new friends.
I do have a Shoei rf1400 and will be buying the sena SRL ext as it is a specific fit for that exact helmet, the 50s works but it's not optimal for that specific helmet

Great product!!
I found the quality of the product and all the accessories to be great! The instructions are clear and you are able to either stick it on the helmet of set it up with the clamp.
Quality-wise, the sound is really good. The setup is made within 5 minutes max. I've had a little issue with sound cutting out constantly on the highway, but Notting a factory reset hasn't fixed.
My only complaints are that the amount of volume with earplugs is lower that I would have liked. With the wind noise and the earplugs, it's almost as if you left your phone volume at 25% with normal earphones. Also, the "Ok Google" command isn't recorded over 50-70 km/h hour due to the wind noise. The fact that's there is no custom mapping of the buttons to patch this, for example a quick click on the dial, makes this voice assistant somewhat unusable while on a bike. Otherwise, I wouldn't change it. It's a great product!

Hello, Does this come with a corded mic or are they just hard mics ? thanks
It comes with 3 styles of mic. A solid boom mic, a boom mic with a sticky end and cord, and a lapel mic with a Velcro back and about 8" cord. For best audio though it's best to use the pre-attached mic as that one is the Harmon kardon one

Can you be listening to music and use intercom at the same time?
Yes. Sena's 50S audio multitasking technology allows you to have conversations while streaming music from your smartphone via Bluetooth, taking or making phone calls, or playing back detailed GPS navigation instructions.

Does it fit on Harley Davidson 1/2 helmet with the pockets in ear covers?
Most of these communicator headsets are designed with 3/4-full face helmets in mind with sticky pads to attach to the smooth sides of your helmet. We cannot guarantee that this unit would or would not work on your specific helmet as it might or might not fit inside the earflap pocket of your helm. However, something to think about is how easy it would be to use the intercom unit once in your flap pocket as well as where the speakers for the unit would go as well. I would recommend Sena SPH10H-FM Bluetooth Headset for Half Helmets instead.

Malheuresement, le manufacturier ne fourni pas d'informations à propos de la resistance à l'eau de ce produit. Ce qui veut dire que l'item n'est pas fait pour être utilisé à proximité de l'eau. Par contre, Sena liste les températures d'opérations: -10°C - 55°C (14°F - 131°F)

Does it fit on a modular full face from Harley Davidson?
As per the manufacturer, the 50s mount is universal, it can be installed and sit with most full-face helmets /modular/open faces on the market. You just need a little space in between the outer shell and inner padding, a speaker cutout inside the helmet, and a good clearance on the left side.
