Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Job Sena with Momentum Evo Sena has done a good job correcting issues they had with their previous Momentum models. The Evo is basically the 2.0 version. Pretty much everything has be upgraded or corrected with the Evo model. I bought my helmet about a month ago and have had it out a few times to try it out and I love it! The fit is now an oval shape which makes it much easier to take the helmet on and off. It still runs a little small compared to other helmet brands. I'm a medium with my HJC and definitely had to move to a large with the Evo. The padding and fit and finish are also better. The speakers and mic are nice and loud and clear. Make sure to download the Momentum Evo app to upgrade the firmware(when available) and configure your bluetooth settings. The only issue I have is the visor latch mechanism. It's not very smooth when taking the visor on or off. You really have to make sure you snap the visor hinges in place. But the visor opens and closes pretty good and has good feel when cracking open the visor for some air. You'll need the extra air because the helmet does get a little warm because of the snug fit but nothing too crazy. However it doesn't effect the noise quality too much on regular roads because it's such a tight fit. At highway speeds you have no choice but to close the visor completely. The Evo comes with a clear visor and clear pin lock anti fog insert. Overall great helmet! Dont waste your money buying the 1.0 versions of the Momentum or Momentum Lite, just get the Evo and save yourself the headache. Unless your looking for the INC, The Pro, or the INC Pro. Good job Sena!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Helmet with only a few complaints Came off using a SHOEI RF-1100 with a SENA SMH10R installed. The size chart was fairly accurate if not slightly smaller then the recommended range. My head measured 22.7" and i decided to go with the L size which fits pretty good. The initial getting the helmet on is a bit more snug, all the inside padding is pretty tight up against your ears, just takes a little moving around to get your ears to settle into the right place. Built quality feels nice, helmet does feel fairly light as well. Comes pre packaged with a pin lock visor guard you can install. Sound wise, it may just be that my old SHOEI is old and worn out but the SENA EVO seems significantly quieter when it comes to windnoise while riding. My biggest complaint about the SHOEI was the god awful whistle of the air through the helmet when riding visor up with sunglasses - thankfully that is not a problem with the SENA EVO, slight whistle still there but no where near as loud. built in intercom systems work great - felt right at home as the controls are the same as the SMH10R - I have not had a chance to use the MESH system yet but i have heard good things. Volume for music and chat is great, good levels can hear music and talking with fellow riders without issue. Airflow hard to say its been too cold to have all the vents open for a long test - Id say it would have enough for what you need but might get a little toasty in the super hot days. So far there are really only 2 issues I have with this helmet: #1 - I was unable to update the firmware using the SENA desktop management app, it kept freezing when attempting to connect to the helmet. I had to use the provided wireless update USB cable to update. (special USB cable connects to your home wifi and automatically will update firmware while charging your helmet) #2 the Breath Guard... this helmet is fairly compact and there is not alot of room in there, the breath guard is soo close to your face that every now and then it slightly rubs the tip of my nose.. not a deal breaker but slightly annoying on longer rides. If you have a big honker of nose i could see it being a real problem . At the end of the day.. I would recommend this helmet - you can't beat the price of getting a decent helmet with all the wicked tech built right in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good purchase Pretty happy with the purchase so far. I'm glad I read a bunch of the reviews beforehand because it definitely runs small. I don't have a big head so I would normally have a medium. I got the large and it's still a pretty tight fit getting it on. The headset controls are very easy to use, haven't tried the Mesh intercom yet but I'm really happy I don't have to wear ear buds under the helmet anymore. I wish it was a little quieter, but I'd definitely recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Bang For The Buck Like the other reviews, the helmet is lightweight and the fit is snug but forgiving after being worn a couple of times. The intercom/phone voice audio is very good; but I find the music quality is a little on the "tin can" side - but for the money, it gets the job done. I have two motorcycles (Suzuki Bandit 1250S and a Honda ST1300) and this helmet is way better suited for the Honda. When riding the Suzuki, there is considerable wind noise as soon as you hit 90 km/h (55mph) and it's necessary to crank up the volume. It's not as heavy or as quiet as my old Shoei but it was a lot less money. Overall rating is 3.5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Helmet I have had this helmet for one week. At first it felt tight on my head, but after wearing inside for about 2 hours over a fee days, it adapted to my head no problem. I bought a size bigger than the one recommended from the sizing and I am glad I did. Took it on a 750 km trip last week and it worked great, and felt good. It is snug to get on, but once on, no problem. Weather was very warm 30 degrees C, but the helmets vents did their job. Audio is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid helmet I bought this helmet a couple months ago, so keep in mind that this review isn't real world, hl just me being a loser and wearing it around the house. The good: speakers work great, they sound better than the sena 20s I was using before. Speaker's are built in so there's no catching your ears on them and it being super uncomfortable. Seems like it will be a super quiet helmet with how snug it is, especially the neck roll. Comes with a pin lock which is awesome. The bad: because of how snug it is it gets stuffy as hell, hopefully that is fixed when I'm actually riding instead of watching TV. You will not be able to fit sunglasses while wearing this helmet (at least I can't) My head is right in between the L and XL so I ordered a L. I got some hot spots when I first put it on but I just worked them down a but with my thumb and they have gone away. I think this is a wicked bang for your buck, especially if you need a lid and new headset.
