Sena SRL-Mesh Headset - being a Mesh communication system specifically made for Shoei Helmets with SOUND speakers by Harman Kardon.
The SRL-Mesh is designed specifically for three of SHOEI's most popular helmets, the GT-Air 2, Neotec 2 and J-Cruise 2.
Once installed, the compact SRL-Mesh unit is virtually undetectable from the helmet's exterior. The left side of the SRL features a 3-button control, while the right side houses the simple one-click-to-connect Mesh Intercom button.
Hands free control with voice commands:
- Answer the phone or starting up a Group Mesh session
- Supports voice commands in 8 languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian
- "Hey Google" and Siri with just a simple voice command allowing you to tap into the power of your smartphone's features (GPS, music, voice dialing...)
Mesh & Bluetooth:
- Mesh Intercom with 2 modes - Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom (Open Mesh) and Group Mesh Intercom
- Open Mesh, like the standard handheld or CB radios, lets users switch between 9 channels
- Single push of a button to click-to-connect to the Mesh Intercom
- Supports a near-limitless number of users within a range of up to 8 km (min. 6 riders @ 1.6 km intervals)
- Group Mesh supports a single, private group for up to 24 participants and the same range as Open Mesh for a more intimate group conversation

Works Very Well
I decided to try this as it is designed to fit my GT Air 2 and gives a cleaner look when installed. When compared to my previous unit, it is very similar in operation. Sure, the voice commands are different, and taking me a little bit to get used to, but that is on me, not the SRL-Mesh.
Sound quality is good and the functionality is excellent. Connecting with my phone's voice-activated assistant is very simple, which it wasn't with my other system, and that alone was worth the upgrade for me.
Given that I often ride alone, particularly in the colder months, I have not used the mesh functionality yet but given how seamlessly everything else works I see no reason to doubt that it performs exactly as expected.

Great system for the Shoe Helmet!
Ideal system for the Shoe helmet. It integrates perfectly and the sound is great. It was easy to install and to use. Delivery was faster than expected. Thanks Fortnine!!!

Sena srl mesh
Installation is easy. Sound quality and range are excelent. Wind noise is so much less than outside mounted units. The only downside is the buttons are not glove friendly. Overall very good.

Instructions missing.
Only complaint is not having detailed installation instructions available for the mesh system. Was relatively easy to figure out. Sound is fantastic and volume buttons easy to find while riding.

This is my third attempt with Sena products. Installation was difficult and connections are finicky. Not completely satisfied with the 4th generation.

Can this unit play music and operate on the Bluetooth intercom at the same time? Just bought a 10s only to find it can't do that which is pretty disappointing
