Sena SRL2 Bluetooth Communication System for Shoei GT-Air II Helmets Item # 661595
Description
The SRL2 Bluetooth® communication system was initially created by Sena and SHOEI for the SHOEI GT-Air II helmet. The SRL2 is built with similar functions to 20S, but with a simple 3-button control. Pair the SRL2 to your smartphone so you can listen to music, hear GPS directions, talk on the phone, and more.
Best-in-class communication experience. Constructed with a dual Bluetooth chips, the SRL2 allows you to communicate with up to 7 other riders over 1.6 km (1 mile) in open terrain. Audio Multitasking™ allows you to simultaneously listen to music and talk with other riders via intercom. The intelligent design will automatically decrease the music volume when someone begins speaking, and then increase again once you have ended your conversation.
The feature set you need for the best ride. The SRL2 comes with all the functions you need to have the smoothest ride including group intercom, voice commands and more. Universal Intercom™ makes the SRL2 compatible with other non-Sena Bluetooth communication systems. The SRL2 is also built with Advanced Noise Control™, so whether you're talking over the intercom or taking a phone call, the environmental wind and road noise doesn't interfere with the audio.
Mobile apps keep you connected and in control. Link your SRL2 Shoei communication system to the Sena Smartphone App (for iPhone and Android) to configure device settings and access our Quick Start Guide at the click of a button. The SRL2 also connects to the Sena RideConnected app, so you can easily talk over intercom with a virtually limitless number of riders over an infinite range while you are connected to a mobile network.

this is the best of the three I've triedI have tried three systems, UClear, Nolan N-Com, I bought two helmets, and this one. This is the best. I didn't plan on using the phone but its so clear and easy to answer, they can't tell I'm on my bike and doing 80 k.
The worst thing about the unit is the voice activation doesn't work well once your over 100 kph you get so used to it at lower speeds. The volume is fine at 120 kph i can hear the music no problem and i ride with those yellow ear plugs. I ride an FJR so the wind noise is high.
I find the button mechanism a little clumsily with warmer gloves but good with the summer ones.
The one thing i would like them to fix is the prompt voice it would be nice if you could set the volume for it.

Clean Installation and easy to useGot this for Christmas so am just starting to use it on the bike now. The installation was very simple and took about 30 mins. I found the sound quality to be fine. Pairing with other Sena units is a breeze once you have registered them in your system, you basically access your list on the iPhone app and then push the centre button once. The intercom connectivity range is only about 300 to 400 yards before you drop off line but a simple push of the centre button when in range reconnects. Intercom pairing with non Sena units is not great.

Easy to set up and useI'm a little disappointed that the FM radio is very trebly but when I play my MP3 music with bass boost it's okay. Helmet install directions could sure use some more detail but once installed it's great to have it so nicely integrated with the helmet. I use it for listening to music so I don't have a problem with the small buttons as I turn it on before I put my gloves on. Loving it so far.

Easy to use and clear soudnComing from the Sena SMH10 which used to be Sena’s flagship, this is worlds ahead. Crystal clear sound and easy controls. And I can still pair it to my old SMH10 so when a buddy doesn’t have comms he can use those.

Great In-Helmet unitAbsolutely fantastic to mount the unit in a Shoei GTII-Air. Clean installation and well hidden. The instructions are not so good, but could figure it out. I do however find the volume to be low, especially with a noisier exhaust.
