                  Description

The SHARK Helmets EVOLINE SERIES 3 is the first modular helmet model on the market to receive the double full-face/open helmet certification in Europe along with 5 stars obtained in the SHARP crash test: simply put, one of the world's safest modular model.

This premium modular helmet offers the freedom of an open face helmet as well as the comfort and security of a full face helmet. The SHARK Helmets EVOLINE SERIES 3 looks good, and more importantly, performs great - in both the open face and closed positions. And unlike many other 'flip up' helmets the SHARK Helmets EVOLINE SERIES 3 helmet is ECE approved for riding with the chinbar in both the open and closed position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hugely flexible and of good quality. I bought this helmet last season. I have now spent about 6000 km wearing it. I must say I'm very impressed with the build fit and finish. The chin bar operation is smooth and intuitive. The sun visor is dark enough to do the job. The helmet is relatively quiet compared to my last modular. It has the feeling of a higher quality helmet. The lining is nice and for the most part comfortable. With the chin bar down the helmet is a snug fit. My installation of a non Shark Bluetooth system was easy and straight forward. It works well in combination with this helmet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features Bought this earlier this summer and have worn it several times. Comfortable but snug fit. The best feature is that the chin bar folds over to the back of the helmet providing a sleek look while it is open faced.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great buy and versatile have had my Shark EVO 3 series for 3 years now. best helmet so far. the front face shield i have now needs replacement to to scratches due to dropping it several time.Wind noise is at par with my other full face. PRO's... can ride 3/4 helmet and you do not need any glasses and switch to full face while riding ... Cons.. face shield replacement is overpriced. great buy...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Flexible BUT!!! Purchased this helmet 2 years ago. 1st one returned because of mechanism failure. New replacement came a couple of weeks latter. Nice helmet on nice sunny days. Being able to open from Full Face to a 3/4 Helmet is very nice around town. Another note that when in 3/4 configuration the weight distribution is back heavy. Just did a 1093KM day and a better part of it was in the rain at about 10deg C to 20deg C. This is where this Helmet fails miserable. Very poor ventilation so face shield fogged up. Had to ride with it partially open. Rain penetrated at the top of face shield when shield was closed and had to stop often to clean. First time caught in a major rain storm and intermittent rain.

How do I know what helmet size to get for a given manufacturer?

                  Asked by: Mike
The best way to determine sizing is to refer to the manufacturer's size chart linked on the product page. the size chart can usually be found below the sizing options, written in blue.
