Shinko MX216 rear
Awesome tire, 3ply makes it very Flexible to conform to all the rocks and roots out on the trail. They ware quick but that's to be expected with a soft compound flexible tire. Its my go to tire for the last 4 years.

Very capable offroad DOT tire
Had this on my 690 enduro. Lots of traction on loose ground and no problem in snow or mud. It was prerty beat up after 1500km and 60% worn but only one torn knob and no flats. It is a heay bike with decent power so I'm happy and would buy again. Front tire is just as capable and in really good shape.

Great traction for cheap!
Like the mitas EF07 green stripe tread pattern but disliked how fast it wore out. The mx216 rear has a nice soft carcass like the EF07 but had lugs that are a bit more firm. This tire is a great option if you like this tread pattern on other tires. Will 100% but this tire again when it wears out. Fairly long life as far as a soft rubber compound tire goes.

Shinko 216 SX
Quite a soft compound. Doesn’t feel like a true sticky gummy but the price reflects that. Riding on Vancouver Island BC.
Performs quite well in the wet rocks and roots.

This tire is great for trails especially for the price point but terrible on hard pack and road with a bike as big as my 701

Very quick wear
Tried the Mx 216 Shinko tire and found it to wear very fast . I’ve ridden in the southern Baja the last 2 winters and last year rode on the Shinko 505 . The 505 lasted longer in the same conditions which was surprising. Bought the 505 from my husqvarna dealer when I picked up my new fe450 as it was a great deal and planned to ride at home on the west coast as well. At this point the tire is feeling very loose as compared to when newer. I would say I got 3 times the life out of the 505 and was still hooking up back home with almost no centre treads left . I’ve always run gummy tires so not much experience with non gummy tires .On a positive note ,the riding is amazing down here with endless scenery and great weather .

Questions
I would like to know it is the sx model (gummy one )? Because shinko offert 2 different compund of this tire !
No, this is the MX version, which features the all-around enduro “firm” rubber compound. The gummy version is the SX model
