Spectra Gold = Lovely
The product is exactly as described. The Spectra Gold looks amazing and will be a perfect accessory addition to your Shoei helmet. I feel like a Power Ranger on the road with this bad boy. When looking through the Sheild, it gives off a blueish tint that isn't quite as dark as the dark smoke shield. That said, I quite enjoy it as it lightens up my surroundings and works well on overcast days. A good comparison is like wearing a blue tint google lens for skiing/snowboarding.
One issue I have with the Shoei CWR-1 Pinlock visors in general is how easily they fog up... forcing you to buy the EVO Pinlock insert... which states it should only be used with a clear visor!? --- so why make these versions? Either way, only downfall, I sometimes need added airflow or slightly crack my visor when needed.

Goldilocks Zone
The 'Mellow Smoke' shield, for me, is in the Goldilocks zone. Not too dark, not too clear...it's just right. If you're looking for anonymity you'll want the darker shield as Mellow Smoke does not hide your face.
Am able to ride through tunnels without lifting visor, like a clear visor.

Does what it says on the tin!
I bought a Shoei RF-SR and wanted a dark smoke shield, this does the job intended. Only disappointment realistically is that i wish Shoei would have included a little bag/cover/sock to store the visor in (so that i can throw it in the bag without worrying and change out when it gets dark, and my main disappointment unrealistically, is that I wish it would have come with a pinlock insert (but that obviously was not going to happen)

Amazing colours
I purchased the spectra fire shield to replace the dark smoke one i had before. Comparing the two, the dark smoke is a darker tint, while the spectra fire seems to be based on a light smoke base. Both work well in the bright sun. I was initially skeptical of buying any of the cwr-1 spectra shields because they looked very see-through / transparent, and out of the box they do. Once its on the helmet it seems to be almost a solid mirror finish and its only up close you can barely make out any facial details. In one of my photos I have two fingers up, and its very hard to make out they're in the helmet.
This visor is expensive, but definitely worth it. The colours are amazing, stock photos don't do justice for the blue and purple on the very sides of it.

Good visor
Easy to swap in and out, perfect fit. Bugs come off with warm water, protects my eyes from the sun. What else do you need?

Great Shield!
I really like this shield. It looks awesome on my Shoei RF1200. I really dont like wearing sunglasses and this eliminates the glare nicely. The pinlock that comes with it works well. Definitely not a shield to be worn if you plan on riding at night.

Fast shipping, good product
Ordered Sunday night, received Monday afternoon, just amazing Fortnine!
Product is great but I thought it was going to be darker though. It's comparable to dark sun glasses as you can still see your face (a bit) when the shield is closed, when it's sunny.
I no longer need to wear sunglasses when driving. Be sure to take it off when approaching dark however because it's hard to see the road at dusk.
Fits well and goes on easily but there's a bit more noise than the original.
Good product overall, I'd recommend it!
