Description
The Shoei GT Air 3 Helmet represents the next generation of touring helmets. Starting in the wind tunnel, the sleek Advanced Integrated Matrix fibreglass shell showcases a balance of strength and lightness. Using "Silent Ride Engineering", the aerodynamic ride of the GT Air 3 are further supported by the 3-D Max-Dry cheek pad and liner system, including a chin curtain and optional, shell-integrated SRL3 Bluetooth system (sold separately).
The GT-Air 3 ships with a clear, fog-resistant CNS-1C face shield with Pinlock lens insert included. An internal drop-down QSV-2 sun visor provides wide, full-spectrum coverage from harsh solar rays. Versus the model that it replaces, at speed the GT Air 3 sports an 11% decrease in lift and - most importantly - a 6% reduction in frontal wind resistance over the GT Air 2. Tighten the micrometric ratcheting chin strap, hit the road, and go. The GT Air 3 is an unparalleled blend of sport, comfort and touring.

Meilleur casque EVER ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent casque Shoei, bonne insonorisation, pas trop pesant et avec le système Sena STL3 intégré en option et la visière intérieur jaune pour le soir et la nuit pour éviter l’éblouissement des phares en sens inverse est c’est tout simplement génial 🤪 Meilleur casque EVER ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Worth the price
Flows a lot of air while riding upright yet still manages to be nice and quiet. Fits true to size. Includes a Pinlock shield. IMHO the gray color is basically silver, it's a little lighter than photos online. This replaces my Shoei RF-1200 and feels very similar to me.
The only downside for me is my prescription glasses are a little harder to slip in than they were with the old helmet, possibly because the interior padding is a different shape. That's a minor gripe though and I'm already adjusting after only a few rides.

Reliable Shoei Quality and Fit
If you like Shoei helmets, you'll like this one.
Sizing and fit is exactly what I expected based on my previous Shoei helmets. Quality is also excellent. Very stable even at high speeds without a large windscreen. Not silent, but I should be wearing ear plugs anyway.
The center-locking visor takes a little getting used to, but it's fine. Same with the operation of the internal sun visor with heavy gloves.
I like the new ratchet strap fastener better than the old D-ring system because you don't have to deal with the extra strap length, but it is a little fiddly adjusting the length of the strap initially.
I gave it four stars for "value for money" because it is expensive.
Note that if you are looking at the "Pearl Black" finish, it is a fully glossy finish with the subtle pearl sparkle. The pic on the website makes it look semi-matte.
