Description
Big Bike Parts® introduces an all new Brake Light Modulator with universal fitment. This compact aluminum housed modulator converts your ordinary brake light into an attention-grabbing visual alert device, creating more visibility when you arebraking. With the modulator installed, applying your brakes will cause your brake light to automatically emit a visual alert signal of 4-8 short light flashes depending on what mode you select. There are four easy to set visual alert modes: Mode 0 =4 Flashes then Solid Brake; Mode 1 = 4 Flashes then 4 Second Solid Brake with Repeating Pattern; Mode 2 = 8 Flashes then Solid Brake; and Mode 3 = 8 Flashes then 4 Second Solid Brake with Repeating Pattern. This Brake Light Modulator has a 10 ampcapacity and attaches with double-sided adhesive tape and connects with supplied connectors. It is completely universal and a great product to have on your motorcycle to improve safety and visibility.

Solid metal case with self adhesive tape made for easy installation.
Multiple flash settings allow for easy customization.
Have used now for over 100 hours of riding with no issues.

Worked as advertisedInstalled it on an 03 Yamaha Roadstar. Once I was able to identify the correct wire to the brake light it was pretty easy to install.

visibility and safetyI added the factory 3rd stop light/spoiler to my Goldwing and added the modulator as an extra level of safety and visibility. This was a good value to add to my comfort and safety level when I ride. it was easy to hook up as well.

Easy installJust received and installed it. Took about 20 minutes (meter wires/cut/solder).
Works OK (Incandescent brake light) but setting #1 performs same as setting #0. I chose setting #2.
Rapid flash i.e. 4 on-4 off within about 1 second which is fine by me. This sort of information, as well as dimensions should be clearly stated.
Hope to have a good 2021 riding season with it.

Will this work on LED brake light on a 2008 electra glide classic?

According to the manufacturer, the Show Chrome (Big Bike Parts) Brake Light Modulator - 16-201 should work with the LED brake light on a 2008 electra glide classic.

Hello Mike...I cannot see any reason why this would not work on your 2018. The piece is designed to be generic, and with 3 wires only it would appear that once you identified the correct wires going to your stop light, this should be a simple install.
