Nice but it’s too long
Installation was easy and it looked great. Unfortunately when installed I rolled it out of the garage and as soon as the tire rolled over the slight slope of the apron the extension hit the cement and shattered my front fender. I’m not impressed with the product and will be passing that information to all of the wing riders I know. $460.00 for a new fender, I’m not happy. Tell showchrome to cut it down by at least 2 inches.

Well Made
I needed a fender extender for my 2009 Goldwing to keep the road grime off the front of the engine compartment. I was tired of seeing road tar & stone chips every time the motorcycle was washed. I Looked at a few different styles but this one, with the added supports, was what I chose. Take care when finish tapping the 6mm holes for the support brackets in the fender bosses. You will need locking pliers, patience & a little bit of cutting oil. I also added some weather strip adhesive to seal the seam between the fender & the extender plus the added strength it provides. There is zero movement there.
Overall it was a simple installation. I'm quite happy with it & the black extender seems to blend in well with the front tire.
