Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bomb-Proof Boots! SIDI moved from leather to synthetic leather because their product is tougher than leather, better breathablility, and lasts longer. If you want a boot that has excellent protection and is comfortable, these are definitely the boots to get. They are expensive, but you absolutely get what you pay for. If you need a Euro size 49 or 50, you can’t get them from North American dealers, you’ll need to order them from a European dealer or possibly Amazon may have them in those sizes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots! I rode these out of the box--and went 7300 km into the NorthWest territories. Lots of good chances to test their waterproofness and comfort. I had no problems and really thought the boots were worth it. The fit is very accurate for me -- based on basketball shoe size. I bought a little big so that I could put in bigger insoles that made things a bit more cushy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Boot Bought these boots after agonizing for months over which boots to purchase for ADV touring. I had narrowed it to the SIDI Adventure 2 and Alpine Starts Toucan boots. I tried the Toucans at a local dealer and did not like the fit/feel of the boot. Without being able to try the Sidis, but owning Sidi Crossfire 2 SRS boots (which fit narrow)in size 44, I ordered the Adventure 2 in 44. They fit perfectly, not narrow like the Crossfire SRS, my first trip was 4500km in 5 days. 21 degrees C on the first day, then hovering around 5-6 degrees and mostly rain, to -7 crossing a mountain pass in the snow, slush and ice, my feet were perfectly comfortable, dry and warm. Great boots, I highly recommend them, worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits under most of my jeans Although they're a bit pricy, these high quality boots offer excellent protection yet are quite easy to walk in. I like the fact that most of the jeans I wear while commuting or riding around town will fit over top. So far, I haven't had any issues with the boots making noise while I walk. I wear a size 42 shoe and these boots are sized correctly for me. Best boots I've owned by far!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely waterproof I just got back from a 7500km trip from Vancouver to the Arctic Circle and back. The boots were new when I left. Despite hours and hours of driving rain, my feet were dry every day. I ordered my regular shoe size and the fit was fine. (42, 8.5) I wore 2 pairs of thin wool socks on some days as the temp dropped to around -5 a couple of mornings. I wouldn’t say the boots were warm but they were the least of my worries. Yes the squeak a little bit some chain lube seemed to fix that. I love how easy these boots are to get on and off. Especially important on cold mornings when getting out of the tent. The mildly aggressive sole is nice for walking on slippery ground. Expensive kit but worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad I purchased these to replace a set of Alpinestars that had finally wore out and started to leak. I am writing this after my 2 week 4,000km trip. Pros - good protection - comfortable after they break in, approx 2000km - waterproof - rode through some good rain and they kept my feet dry. I hope it lasts. Cons - very tall boots, helps with protection but can be uncomfortable for long periods - not very breathable resulting in sweaty feet. All the plastic and synthetic materials negate the benefit of Gore-Tex - not much insulation so I suspect feet will get cold in cool weather. I was surprised how cool my feet got in only 12C. Wanted to get out my heated insoles. - being Euro design they fit small so I needed a 46 for my size 11 feet. Funny Alpinestars are bang on for me 45 all the time. Results in larger bulkier boots. - toe box is deceptively high, not as bad as the new Klims. I had to max out my shifter height. Frequently missed shifts until I got used to them and they broke in some. Was used to them at the end of the trip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kudos to Fortnine and Sidi Despite the ongoing uncertainty around Covid-19 in our country, Fortnine made an expedited delivery to get the Sidi Adventure 2 Gore-Tex Boots to me in B.C. The boots fit perfectly and while I haven't taken them through the tests yet are comfortable, clearly well made. Bought them for a long haul trip to the Arctic. Replacing a fine pair of Gaerne boots because I wanted more overall protection....

                  Questions

I have thin legs and I’m wondering if these will fit properly. I’m worried the boot will bunch up, losing its natural form when I tighten them down all the way. This would likely create pressure points and hot spots.

                  Asked by: Stickman
These boots offer a great amount of adjustability, so in most cases you will be able to get them to fit you properly. Of course, we would always suggest trying them on for yourself, as comfort can be an individual thing. you may also want to consider the Sidi Crossfire boots which offer even more adjustability: https://fortnine.ca/en/catalogsearch/result/?q=sidi%20crossfire&principal_category=Dirt%20Boots

I don't have an opportunity to try these on, I have worn Alpinestars Tuocan's in a 10.5, will these be about the same size?

                  Asked by: Kozy
I'm not sure how they compare to the Tuocan's, however I can tell you that I found the Sidi to run small. I normally wear a shoe size of US 12 / EU 46, and I had to buy the EU 47 size for the Sidi's. Great boots, by the way! I love them.

I use size 13 or 14 shoes. What size is this in the size used here?

                  Asked by: Brian
According to their size chart that would be a 48 or 49.

Can you get your regular jeans over these boots or do they need to be tucked inside?

                  Asked by: Timesarrow
I own these boots and I couldn't put my jeans over the boots. The boots are fairly large, made to be able to put motorcycle overpants within the boots.
