The smooth heel cup, on the other hand, improves bike grip. With the special gore membrane, Performer Gore is made waterproof and perfect for any weather condition.

Steep price but you get what you pay for
These boots are comfortable and look pretty durable. I did like 3000km on a roadtrip with those and they show minimal wear(they still look brand new). The price is steep and I have not bough those because I have a lot of money. I bough those because I know that the extra 200$ I spent for gore-tex and the Sidi brand is all worth it. On hot day there's highly functional vent, you just move your feet on the peg to get fresh air from different vent wich is great. I've been in heavy rain and my feet were toasty and dry. They're a bit hot honestly in summer riding but it doesn't compare to cheaper option wich aren't that breathable.(I tried icon waterproof stuff and it was just too hot for me). So overall great boot, highly functional and made to last a long time !
