I Never Ride Without Them!
I am an avid supporter of dressing for the slide and not just the ride. With that being sai, allow me to explain. I commute from west island to downtown Montrel and had to ride home in the rain one afternoon on the 20 west when a large box truck coming on the entrance ramp was going far too fast and locked up his brakes sliding up over the curb and t boned the centre cement divider directly in front of me. Due to reduced traction in the wet I had a split second decision to either jump up into the side of the truck or lay it down. I layer it over and slid directly under the truck stuffing the bike under the frame of the truck. The impact was so violent that 3 people could not dislodge the bike to clear the road ... Just to give you an idea. The point here is that I layed it down and pushed it ahead of me into the truck and I then proceeded to smash into the bike feet first crumpling into a ball and breaking my cell phone in half that was in my chest pocket. I got up and was completely fine due the lateral support and impact strength of the ankle support of these boots. I am quite sure I would broken or sprained one or both of them if I had not had them on!
They are comfortable, look great and should give anybody piece of mind in the event of a get off.... They are a very valuable component and should never bo overlooked...not for walking around all day but who wants to do that when you go out for a ride anyway

Typical Excellence One Would Expect with Sidi Boot
These boot fit perfectly for me, they allow excellent flexibility, air flow is good and look awesome. I'm happy I paid the big bucks for these boots! They clean up really easy too. No complaints at all. You get what you pay for.

Worth every penny
Boots are great quality and fit very true to the size chart. Sharp looking as well. Right out of the box they’re a little stiff when walking around, but what do you expect from a race boot. If you’re looking for maximum foot protection, this is a great buy.

Sizing
Just bought theses boots in a size 50 which, according to the Sidi conversion chart, should be a little bigger than a size 14.5 US but they were too small. I have a size 14.5 D US as measured on the Brannock device (found in most shoe stores). I believe a Sidi size 50 is really a size 14 D US. Quality and protection looks good out of the box...cannot say on the road.
