My 25 hp Mercury runs like new again!!!
These gaskets are not as good quality as Not as good asoriginal OEM parts. But they are 1/3 the price from Mercury dealer. My outboard motor was extremely hard to start and the idle was very rough. I removed the carb off the motor and then dismantled and let it soak in varsol over night. Then used canned carb cleaner to wash off varlsol and blew out all components with compressed air. Replaced all gaskets except 2 that were in the kit as my carb did not require these. Re installed carb on motor. Primed fuel bulb in fuel line and started first pull!!!!!!! Adjusted fuel mix screw to set idle. I have had my boat out on the water 3 weekends in a row and it runs beautiful. Only time will tell how long these gaskets will last. If they fail within the next 5 years I will purchase the OEM parts next tim. So far I am very pleased with this product.
