- Kits are designed specifically for each model to optimize the airflow to the engine
- This is achieved in two ways: first, SLP provide more available air and reduce the chance of getting plugged up or bogged down by adding more intake surface area using a model specific intake grate that includes a powder snow pre-filter; second, by eliminating flow restrictions in the stock system, SLP increase intake airflow volume for improvements in horsepower and throttle response
