Warm jacket for the shoulder seasonsJust completed 1500 miles in southern US temps of 8 to 20C and the jacket was perfect. If suns out at 20C you will have to open the vents which are minimal at best. Protection from wind and cold is good and sizing is correct to chart. Armour is light and comfortable. I wish that Speed and Strength had added a lining in the sleeves to the hooded liner and a cuff retainer. Forever pulling the sleeves inside out when removing the jacket.

Amazing jacket, colour not as shownBeen riding with this jacket now for the better part of a month and I love it. I ended up with the stealth black but had originally wanted the vintage black (for that nice worn-in grey denim look) but after some back and forth with the awesome people at F9's customer service we found that the vintage black looks more like the stealth black had just been washed a bunch of times rather than the nice grey denim shown in the pictures.
Vents are adequate but would rather an under arm vent rather than a bicep one. Jacket is rather cool in mild weather without the liner but I could see someone roasting on a sunny day with the hoodie installed it's so warm.
The only nitpick outside of colours that I would mention is in an upright riding position, with little to no windscreen @ ~60kmph it feels like your wearing a parachute on your chest (likely due to no front facing vents aside from the biceps) so naked bike owners take notice.
I'm ~5'9" and ~190-210 lbs (depending on breakfast) with a broad chest and a 30" inseam. A large fits me perfectly with a bit of room for a heavier shirt if needed.

The Dye is coming offOnce I put it in a bucket of water, the entire bucket turned black and once I take the jacket out, the color of the jacket is distorted

Great jacket.I go the orange and I loke it. I wore it with the linner during my course and the temperature varied from 10 degC to 20 degC. It was a bit hot at 20 deg, but just perfect at 10 deg.

I bought a month age very comfortable with or without the liner. Great vents on hot days.
How is the sizing on this jacket? True to size of smaller?
Is this jacket good for the shoulder seasons when warmth required - spring/fall?
Asked by: biscotti87
Well I’m a medium/ large type of jacket guy. Because this has a hoodie inside it can add some padding if you go large. But for the most part it’s pretty true. Weather….Depending on where you live. I live in Vancouver so it tends to get pretty cold shoulder season so I need full leather. But anywhere else it should be fine. Sexy jacket.

Does the jacket have a wind flap inside of the zipper?
Asked by: Bob24
This jacket does not feature a wind flap inside the zipper, however, it does include additional fabric that partially covers the zipper at the front.

Does it have inside pockets?
Asked by: Mutashio
It has a single inside pocket that S&S refer to as their "Concealed carry" pocket on the inner left chest. It's part of the shell too so if you remove the liner you still retain the pocket. The liner hoodie itself does also have two hand pockets but these would be difficult to access with the liner installed.
