This battery is dry charged; which means that it could be put into service immediately after filling with acid, but as a precaution to ensure maximum life and performance from the battery it should be trickle charged for 4-10 hours to freshen the battery. All SPX batteries are manufacturer warranted for 1 year providing battery has been well maintained and serviced as per manual. This warranty covers replacement of the battery only, any other costs incurred are not covered.
