STI Out & Back Max Front/Rear Tire Item # 295537

Description
The STI Out & Back Max tires feature an aggressive tread pattern and true sizing designed to power off-roaders through the mud, from large-bore UTVs to mid-size ATVs, and then get them back in comfort. In sizes from 26 inch up to 32 inch, the Out & Back Max tires use stepped-lug construction and a rugged carcass for trusted performance in the sloppiest conditions.
Features:
- 1.5-inch tread depth in the center, and 2.0-inch depth at the shoulder
- Stepped-lug construction builds lugs for minimum flex and maximum traction
- Sturdy 6 or 8-ply carcass for low-psi operation and supreme flotation
- True sizing means the competition doesn't measure up to Outback Max
- 26X10-12 and 27X10-12 are 6-ply, all other sizes are 8-ply

Amazing traction
So far with about 100km on them, these tires are great and look amazing on my bike and, after going about 10km/h only you don't feel them on hard trail or pavement. traction exceeds expectations.

Great traction
I do a lot of mudding where I drive my RZR Turbo,....these tires hook up nicely, but are a bit heavy, as well as side traction has depleted slightly from having the bighorns, but to gain something, you lose it on something else is the rule. Over all I m very happy with these tires.

I have a 2022 can am outlander 450 and was wondering if the tires would be too much for my ATV to handle.
No, as long as you choose the appropriate tire size then you should have no problems with these tires as they are designed for large-bore UTVs to mid-size ATVs (like you Outlander 450).

How are these tires on a gravel road or trail? Rough? Hard steering?
They are great in the mud, they will pull through anything. For a big tire they are not bad on the road or hard pack trails. I have not found them to be rough. On hard pack the performance is similar to mudlites. I would recommend them.

I have 2011 canam outlander 800r stock what's the biggest size can I put on 14inch rims with no issues?
We do not recommend using tires of other sizes than those that were originally installed at the factory. Changing your tire size without changing your rims can adversely affect the suspension, handling, and fuel economy of your vehicle. If you're looking for more detailed information on this subject, we suggest contacting a certified mechanic or your local dealer.
