STI Tire & Wheel has gone yet bigger and bolder with the all-new Roctane XS. This new tire is being rolled out in two industry-first sizes, making it an easy choice for the "too much is never enough" customer.
The Roctane XS will be available in exclusive 29/10R15 and 30/10R17 models. You read that right - these low-profile tires are designed for 15- and 17-inch wheels! (Such as STI's new HD4, for example.)
The Roctane XS is the next step in the evolution of the original, already renowned Roctane XD. Like its older sibling, it features 8-ply-rated radial construction, super-deep RocGuard rim guards and RocWall sidewalls for ultimate reliability. Comfort, control and durability are hallmarks of the Roctane name, and this new tire continues the family tradition.
The Roctane XS goes one step further, however, with a new symmetrical center tread pattern for improved performance on hardpack surfaces. This change has resulted in a smoother ride and even longer tire life as well.
It's noteworthy that the Roctane XS also utilizes a slightly lighter carcass design than the Roctane XD, but it still boasts impressive load ratings: 1047 pounds for the 29/10R15 size, and 1074 pounds for the 30/10R17.
Everything about the Roctane XS is big, except its pricetag. Despite all of its advanced technology and performance, this tire upholds the sort of value you've come to expect from STI.
