A reliable steering system is essential for maintaining control and handling difficult terrain on the Polaris Ranger Full-Size 500. SuperATV's RackBoss 2.0 Rack and Pinion, featuring X24 Tech dual-bushing construction, eliminates sloppy steering while significantly reducing wear by over 50%. This rack is built to handle oversized tires and extreme rides with long-lasting durability.

Engineered with X24 Tech, this rack includes heavy-duty PTFE bushings at both ends, eliminating internal play and minimizing unintended movement. The reduced play keeps the tension spring nearly motionless, ensuring smooth, responsive steering through heavy rides and hard impacts. The built-in grease fitting allows for easy maintenance by pushing fresh grease through the rack after exposure to mud or water.

To enhance durability and performance, two tie rod options are available. Swaged tube tie rods provide a lightweight yet strong design, significantly improving the strength of the 7/8" diameter tubing. These tie rods feature 16 mm inner ball and sockets along with 14 mm outer tie rod ends, reinforcing weak points for superior reliability. Solid steel bar tie rods offer even greater strength, utilizing a 1" diameter steel rod paired with oversized tie rod ends—3/4" outer tie rods and rebuildable inner tie rods that use 3/4" rod threads and 16 mm rack threads. These options ensure a robust and dependable steering system capable of handling rough terrain and oversized tires.
