Easy to use, quick on...quick off.
These are probably my favorite accessory purchase for any of the bikes I've owned. You know when something has bothered you for years and finally you find a solution? That's what these bags mean to me. Now I finally have the right size bags to go moto comping, and in combination with the sw-motech 350 dry bag I have all the storage I need. They can be slipped on and off in seconds. Once on they don't move. They look great and they come with liners for each side to keep your stuff dry. I also wanted soft bags that won't constantly collapse into the wheel and I was tired of trying to fasten soft bags with 4 feet of strapping without spiderman skills. I will admit there are sturdier bags and cases, but I don't live on my bike, I try to ride every week end and I camp occasionally (I mean yeah I have a day job and I don't cross the Andes, but I bet these would do the job just fine) This might be my longest review of any product. That's how much I like these bags. I've even removed the nothion of needing a tank bag for fear of distraction. Now on short trips the phone, wallet, water bottles and snacks go in the back and I can focus on a really nice ride. You won't even notice these bags behind you. Hope this helps.

Exactly what I was hoping!!!
After doing a lot of research and review reading, I thought I'd take a chance on these bags. They are exactly what i needed. The mounting fit my bike exactly. They don't move around and the waterproof inner bags keep my stuff perfectly dry. Fortnines price was the lowest, and delivery was super fast. Great company to deal with online. They are the BEST!!!!!

Easy to instal and great quality.
I picked this system up a few months ago. Unfortunately they don't make a model for the 07-08 GSXR 1000. Seeing as I have 2008 I bought it any way. With a small adjustment to the mounting bracket it fits like a dream. The only thing I didn't like about the kit is the clear protective film your suposed to apply to protect your plastics from wearing where the bags touch. It's impossible to apply on contoured surfaces and and over all looks tacky when the bags are off. I removed it and the bags haven't damaged my plastics as of yet. Other than that it's super easy to take on and off the bike and I love how low profile it is. They don't move or flap in the wind at all. Even if they are empty. Also being able to simply click the support rods out in seconds to make your bike look stock again is a huge plus. Over all I don't know why I didn't buy them sooner.

These bags are awesome
I bought them for my 2020 Honda CB500XA. I can easily fit enough gear for a roadtrip.

Good soft bag option
Just finished a 4500km trip with them and they held up very well.
Installation is a bit challenging but I knew that from other reviews. Getting the bags on the bike so the right side does not rest on the exhaust takes some effort. (I have a termignoni exhaust but it is the same size and position as stock.) I Had to tighten the straps so tight that it was difficult to slide the bags onto the tubes.
The dry bags are not %100 water proof. We hit some pretty nasty rain and the bottom corners of the bags would get damp. Not terrible but not waterproof.
We traveled for 2 weeks and these bags held enough stuff that we only did laundry once. So enough space if you are efficient in packing.
Other than those issues they are a good economical alternative to hard shell bags for the monster.

Easy Install & Perfect Fit
I had been waiting for these to come back in stock to put on my Ninja 250R.
The long wait was well worth it - everything installed great! The included metal rods keep the bags well clear of the exhaust. Not much else to say, you can see everything in the pictures attached to this review.
As listed, the bags aren't waterproof themselves but liners are included (1 for each) that are quite large.

Questions
Will the SW-Motech Saddlebags mount under my SW-Motech Rearbag Tail Bag?
I'm not sure how easy it would be to mount/unmount the tail bag once the side panniers are installed, but there is no reason why it would not work.

I mostly ride with a passenger, Is the kit designed for rider only or can it be use with a passenger? I'm worried that sitting on the velcro strap would be uncomfortable Can I remove the rear seat and place the velcro strap underneath the seat?
Here's an answer found on SW-Motech's website:
Q:Can I take a passenger when using the BLAZE panniers or is this even legal?
A: No legal restrictions are known to us when using the BLAZE panniers with a passenger. However, the seating quality for the passenger is unfortunately somewhat limited by the Velcro fastener. In individual cases leg freedom can also be restricted.
As for your question regarding mounting the Velcro strap underneath the seat, because it is so wide, it unfortunately cannot be mounted that way.

Are these waterproof?
Bags themselves aren't, but inner liners are. Velcro enclosure and plastic clips ensure the inner bag is closed. Rode through an intense rain storm for 45 mins on a trip through N. California last year. Bags were soaked, but everything stayed dry in the inner bag.

How do you think these would fit with a moto guzzi v7
Will these fit a helmet?
These seem too narrow to be able to fit a helmet inside. It would not fit.

So I contacted SW-Mototech customer service and they tell me no bags are available for the 2017-2022 GSXR1000 /1000R yet these are "guaranteed fit" for a 2017 GSXR1000 ?? confused, has anyone mounted these to a newer Gixxer 1000?
Will this setup fit my 2016 FJ 09?
Yes they will fit the Tracer.
