Perfect fit on my 2016 BMW R1200 GS Adventure
The installation hardware includes standoffs with built-in washers to mount the Tank Ring about 5 mm above the gas tank bezel.
The downside is that the 4 included screws (hexagon socket head cap screws in steel) do not match the other 2 factory Torx hexalobular stainless steel screws. I have them on order through my fastener store.

Does not fit Z650RS
Bought this for a new Z650RS and had to return as it does not work on this bike. It will fit a Z650 though. Fortnine should advertise that it will not fit the RS. I've purchased alot of stuff from Fortnine and was disappointed that they charged me $7 to supply me with a return label. If you have an Evo tank bag as I have, SWMotech is no longer making rings to fit these bags. If you find rings for these bags.... Buy them...

Easy install
I bought this a month ago to attach a second hand tank bag. The tank ring came with extra bolts of a variety of lengths so that I could choose the bolt lengths that fit my bike without the need to go to a hardware store.

Works as predicted
I bought the SW-MOTECH tank ring to match an unused EVO GS bag I got on Kijiji. The ring fit perfectly on my 2018 BMW R1200RT. A bit of blue locktite and it was done. I preferred the look of the SW-MOTECH tank ring (when the bag is off) to that of GIVI setup. Lots of videos on YouTube to give a few pointers. I recommend this

Easy install, solid
Installed on my New Kawasaki ZH2. Fitting the ring is easy and quick. Also purchased a SW-Motech GS tankbag. The ring is solid and attaching the bag is easy. Quick release and install a must especially when stopping for gas. Even when not in use, the ring doesn’t stand out too much. Still remove it when not in use and replace the holes with black screws. Actually looks better than the oem tank ring. Install is 4 screws and takes no longer than 3 minutes.

Will this work on a 2014 R1200GS WITHOUT keyless ride?
Yes. Fits perfectly on my 2013 without keyless ride.
