The sturdy aluminum handlebars on the Kobra handguards protect handlebars and drivers alike in the event of accidents and falls, while the replaceable polypropylene impact-resistant handguard shells provide additional protection against weather, flying rocks and off-road driving. Even more protection and safety! The protective surface of the Kobra handguards can be adjusted as needed with optional extensions made of impact-resistant plastic. The expansion is screwed onto the top edge of the Kobra handguards. It fits seamlessly into the look of the bike, but still offers hands significantly more protection against wind and weather, as it increases the protective surface by 50% . For increased visibility in traffic, there are the (available separately) Led Indicator, which can be easily inserted into the recesses of the handguards.

Completely useless instructions
These handguards fit perfectly once I figured out how to install them. The instructions from SW-Motech are absolute GARBAGE! I nearly returned this item but instead watched a few youtube videos on how to remove the internal bar weights from my CB500F. It turned out to be a pretty simple job once I got some decent instructions on how to do it. This item is extremely overpriced but its also well made compared to cheaper way overpriced options.

Simple installation, great looks, but expensive
Installation wasn't too difficult. I loosened and readjusted the hand guards a couple of times to get them at the angle I wanted.
They feel very sturdy, and they look fantastic. The branding is very subtle, unlike some popular competitors.
These are expensive compared to competing models. The price would be more appropriate if they included the vertical extensions that are sold separately.

Did not fit as is, requires modification
Purchased this as a "guaranteed fit" for my bike. The instructions were wrong and the method described for my model would not have worked. The bolt it came with was too large a diameter. Had to use a combination of factory parts and parts from the kit to make it work... hopefully it's strong enough.
The hardware that came for the handguards is also very cheap. Almost all the screws stripped just trying to get it secure enough so it wouldn't rattle loose when riding.

Quality Product worth the money
I bought these handguards to replace the original (OEM-supplied) ABS guards which were not up to the job of serious off-road riding. The SW-Motech product is made from quality materials and is easy to fit.

Good product, not specific to BMW F750GS
Good quality of material, extension are a must as there's little weather protection with the basic handguard (another $32) the left hand side can't be align to cover the full hand as it's limited by the clutch sensor (cruise control) provides some cover but I can feel the air and get water on the top of my hand. Knowing all these I'd have decided to install a different product.

Really great product but make sure it will fit!
Grabbed these along with the LED lights and extensions, but make sure the handguards will fit your bars, not your bike! I bought the ones for the fz09, but forgot to realize i have a set of renthal fatbars on my bike so they did not fit... luckily i was able to return then for a full refund without any problems!

Seem to work, easy install
Plastic seems a bit fragile, but i haven’t crashed so don’t know. Easy to install, just put the plastic part on before the aluminum part because screws are impossible to close once the hand guards are fastened to the bike.

Questions
Does this only have the 1 bar-end mounting point or 2? The last picture makes me question it.
The Korbra hand guard has a complete ridged backbone that runs from the center of the bar to the bar end. They are a well designed hand guard.

Curious if there is a throttle lock that works with these guards? I know one throttle lock is designed to work with bark busters, O wpnder of that would be compatible? Thanks!
I use a clip that clamps on the throttle tube near the opposite end of the bar end, it rests against the brake lever. Very simple device, but effective. Not perfect for holding a specific cruising speed but it locks the throttle when I need it.
