Good product
I have many SW Motech products and am generally very impressed. This rack is advertised on the Fortnine website as being strictly for the 2010-2013 models of the Super Tenere and further states that it will not work on my 2015.
I wanted it bad enough that I wrote to the maker in Germany who tells me that they no longer make this item in steel for my bike but also that the rack in question would indeed fit the 2015 (and thus I presume all other years) model.
I bought it and installed it without any drama at all. It fits!!

Solid unit with an easy install
Needed a quality rack to strap a dry bag or backpack on to. Riding season just started so only have used it a couple times but so far so good. Lots of points to attach straps and soild steel construction has me confident it will hold up for plenty of miles.
My one word of caution is the install does require you do drill holes in the rear fender. Thankfully ktm planned for this and have dimples in the plastic for you to drill through so no measuring or templates are needed. I believe other racks all require the same drilling but if it's something you are nervous about maybe investigate other options. Also, because of the holes that are drilled in once the rack is on, it stays on... Unless you want to have 4 large holes visible in your fender or have another one with no holes drilled in it.
Everything being said I'm more then happy with it so far, install was less then an hour and am confident it will serve my needs in the future.

fixes the klr's weak rack
After 3 years of hard, bumpy riding with maybe approx. 15lbs weight on my rack, the stock metal plate under the existing rack broke in 2 spots. This rack is thicker, looks stronger, alot better for lashing items down. If you are a serious adventure riding on a klr be sure to look under that plastic stock rack to be sure you metal rack is not failing. Mine did middle of ride.

Fit perfectly
The rack fits perfectly and is very sturdy. The quality is good and was very easy to install. You get what you pay for.
