Bulky units
I found these to be of poor quality compared to the OEM units that were originally installed on the panniers. The mechanism is clunky in operation, the casting for the lock is rough and much bigger compared to the OEM.
To be fair, I had to bend the hardware on the panniers so the lock pin wouldn’t slip out of the latch, having said that, a good tug on the handle could force the pin out of the latch…the pin should be longer
