Technology:
- ZPLATE: Sturdy laterally, flexibe frontally. The ZPLATE shank in the midsole keeps the right flexibility of the shoe, for an optimal riding and walking comfort, ensuring at the same time the transverse rigidity to protect the foot, in case it would be crushed under the vehicle.
- GROUNDTRAX: Groundtrax® outsoles are engineered to ensure stability, grip and traction both on the footpegs and once got off the saddle. This is due to the design of lugs and grooves, as well as the choice of the rubber compound, which also maximize the wear-resistance and self-cleaning of the tread. The sole is featured by a dedicated gear shift area, to provide an higher precision during the ride.
- D3O: In its raw form the D3O® molecules flow freely, thanks to their non-Newtonian nature, allowing the material to be soft and flexible. On impact, the D3O® molecules lock together, absorb and dissipate the energy from impacts, significantly reducing the amount of force that gets transmitted to the body compared to standard materials.

Great Style and Comfort, Poor design
Bought a pair for my everyday riding to work and back. Out of the box they look great and are quite comfortable. Unfortunately the sole is poorly secured to the leather, and within one afternoon of walking around an office (less than 4 hours, mostly sat at a desk), had already seperated . For this price, I'd expect better, and can't reccomend the boots unfortunately.

Great Shoes for Urban Riding
Hesitant to buy as there were no reviews yet but I'm really liking my choice!
Leather is very nice. Sole has obvious stiffness to it which feels safer but still nice to walk around it. Very good grip on the pavement.
Fit: Slightly on the narrow size. I'm a Mens 11 (45) and it fits slightly long but I don't think I would go down a size. Stick to your usual size.
Apparently there is D30 armour in the ankle area but you wouldn't really know it.
Haven't tested the waterproofness of the shoes but they are a touch sweaty.

Stylish, Comfortable, Garbage Quality
Got these last Christmas and had to return the fist pair because they are sized small. Exchange was painless and got the next size up. Have worn them on two rides for a total of maybe 6 hours and was thinking these are really comfortable.
Unfortunately when I took them off today I noticed that both had the rubber starting to delaminate on both sides where the toes articulate. Sorry but that is so beyond acceptable for a product costing this much it is beyond words. These are Walmart quality at best, at least the pair I received. If I wear these for another 16 hours I guarantee they will not be remotely waterproof and they haven't seen any rain yet.
Unfortunately I already threw out the packaging so I guess I'm stuck with this junk.
I will be contacting Fortnine to complain.
Purchase at your own peril.

Better than slippers
They were a bit stiff at first. Then they felt like slippers. Better than slippers, they hugged my feet so well. Then the soul of the left shoe started to peel off. Unfortunately, that happened day 2. Fortunately! Fortnine and TCX are awesome when it comes to customer and refunded me.

Fit well, niggling issues
Bought about 1000kms ago! These fit true to size but are a wide fitting.
Very comfortable to walk in, though very flat, but the supplied footbed is rubbish as always (despite being 'a feature'). The 'zip to ease entry' is a necessity each time as are the laces so a double effort to put on.
The d30 armour is apparent and fits unobtrusively between the leather and the liner. They were fully waterproof when i was caught in a downpour but you will want to seal and protect the surface.
They are comfortable on the pegs with enough rigidity to support while not being too stiff to walk in. Nice height for ankle support.
My niggles are twofold: First that they are very warm, warmer than my TCX Adventure style full height waterproof winter boots! And second that the armour make closing the zip on the left boot difficult and has caused that zip to become misaligned and miss its teeth on occasion. They may have to go back if this persists
Overall, comfy and feel protective

Takes longer than planned from
Great boots
These boots are very comfortable right out of the box. The side zipper allows for easy on/off without having to tie laces every time. The soles have great grip and are a good compromise between comfort and protective stiffness. The laces tuck in to the built in elastic holder on the tongue and protection seems decent based on the style of the boot. Have yet to test waterproof claim but the overall quality of the boots appears to be excellent.

zippers on inside are already not lining up and the glue between the boot and the sole is already delaminating after a few months,

Just what I was looking for!
Great looking shoes. Very comfortable walking around, Sole has very good grip. A bit pricey, but the side zip convenience is unbeatable. Only ridden twenty minutes in rain but feet stayed dry
