J'ai demandé ce chargeur comme cadeau de Noel haha...!
L'installation a été très facile. Je n'ai pas eu besoin de défaire mon ancien pig-tail (battery tender) déjà installé sur la batterie. Cela m'a sauvé 1 heure de travail, car la batterie est mal placée. La première charge a duré 2 heures et maintient la batterie depuis 2 semaines.
J'ai accroché le chargeur sur la moto avec un flexible de jardinage en mousse. Sinon il peut être vissé au mur.
Les indicateurs à LED sont difficiles à comprendre avec leurs symboles internationaux et génériques. J'ai fini par me dire que Rouge=MAL Vert=BON.
Bref c'est un excellent petit chargeur pour les petites batteries à faible charge. (0.8Amperes)

Simple and effective!
I use this on my Honda CB500X which has an Optimate ready connection. So it's basically "plugin-and-forget". Especially with our cold winters, this little device is really handy. It's solid built too. Definitely can recommend it.

Optimate 3 - Simply the Best
My bike came with an Optimate plug installed so I read the reviews and selected the Optimate 3. I wanted a smart charger that could be left on the bike without fear of overcharging. The 3 was very easy to use after reading the instructions and performed exactly as stated. Very pleased with the purchase and recommend it to others.

Can you use it for a lithium iron battery
Unfortunately this is not compatible with Lithium batteries.

Will it stop charging automatically if the battery is fully charged?
Yes, it is a charger/maintenance meaning it will only charge when needed. I keep my 2016 Fatboy S connected to this charger all winter in the garage.

Will this charger work well on a regular car battery as well?
Yes It does, I used it on my Mustang that I store away each winter. This is the second year and there is no problem in starting my car. Please unplug charger before starting your vehicle to protect your charger.
