OptiMate 6 Ampmatic
After trying to start my new truck that had been sitting in the driveway for a month in the middle of winter, the AGM battery was stone dead. I decided to buy an OptiMate 6 Ampmatic in the hopes that it would bring the battery back to life. When I hooked up the charger to the dead battery, after the first charge cycle the battery's state of charge was only 20-40%. I decided to leave the charger hooked up to the battery for a few days longer, and this time when I opened the hood to check the battery status, the lights on the Optimate were all green, which meant that the state of charge had returned to 100%. The OptiMate, for me, was totally worth the investment.
