Does auto socket mean cigarette 12v female socket? Are the two the same thing but different names?
Yes, in newer vehicles they no longer call it the cigarette lighter as most just have a plastic protective cover and not a cigarette element. They call it 12 V adapter (something like that). Anyway, same thing.
