Sleeves are incorrectly located
Unfortunately, had to send it back.
The sleeves were stitched to the garment on the wrong sides (ie. left sleeve stitched on right side). This means the under-elbow padding is now on the top side of the arm.
Overall, the padding is pillow soft and would not protect from roost/fall at all. You'd probably be better off wearing several hygiene pads and hoping for the best.
It would be a good base under existing armour, but may mean you'd have to size up and be 100% committed to wearing this at all times. I believe this is closer to the intended purpose.
For me at least, this was a swing and a miss. Sorry Thor, love your stuff otherwise.

Useless for protection. Good for learning anatomy.
TL:DR this would make a good shirt to sleep in...and not much else.
I bought this for my wife and kid to use on occasional forest rides with me. I care too much for their health and safety to use this protector.
There are 2 main issues with this shirt which is sold as protective equipment.
1. F9 delivered fast as usual. But the padding is located incorrectly and will not help in any way if there is an off. The lower arm padding is on the top side (see photos) of the forearm not the bottom. Your bony elbow and Ulna bone will take damage with no help from this top. So why am I wearing it??
Yes Thor, you made me look up the name of the bones in my arm. That should be enough to know you pooched this one big time.
I'm trying to imagine the situation where the padding would serve any purpose at all, and the best I can come up with involves a Cyote, a Road Runner and several ACME products. Seriously, even the product pictures form Thor show the padding in a different location (see photos).
2. The protection is soft. Like pillow soft. If the padding was in the right place (spoiler- its not), the only thing it would do is soak up the blood from the injuries it did not prevent. There are only 2 things known to humans that are softer than the protective padding used here (1) The stock seat on any Dual Sport. (2) The original suspension on a Ténéré.
I have initiated a return to F9 as the garment is clearly faulty from Thor (point #1). I hope they agree.
(I just has a look at comments in other online stores - this is a common fault)

Good protection, light weight!
Used a couple of times now and it's great. Offers great protection without being awkward to wear, or too hot.

Affordable, light duty padding
Been wearing under regular clothing for not so aggressive riding and it feels pretty great. Durability and protection - both moderate but worth the small expense.

How thick/dense is the padding? Looking for light mountain bike protection for the occasional spill at the hill. Is this about 7-8mm and dense like D30? Or really light and truly just MX roost / branch protection? I need chest and back padding. Tks.
Padding is about 3/4" thick, but very soft and compresses easily.
