Ok value for the money, but Fox wins in my book
I ordered these as well as the Fox Titan Race to compare as the price points were similar (~$30 vs ~$45). I will be returning the Thor and keeping the Fox. Here's why:
- COMFORT: Thor mesh is more comfortable because it's looser at the elbow, but the forearm strap design (criss cross) is annoying and does not hold the guard in place as well. The fox mesh is tighter around the elbow joint but I think will loosen with time, and the guard has gel areas to hold it comfortably in place. The strap design is also easier to use (no criss cross) and holds the pad in place better. Overall, wearing one on each arm, the Fox arm was a lot more comfortable.
- PROTECTION: Both have forearm protection, the Fox benefits from a little bit of tricep protection (not plastic though, go to the pro for that). The added benefit of the tricep protection piece is the 3rd strap which keeps the pad's elbow in place on the Fox, whereas the Thor elbow portion seems to flop. Perhaps less so under a jersey, but the Thor pad gave me the impression it would shift easily in a crash and expose my elbow. The Fox was secure, and the added tricep padding is nice against branches. Resting my elbows on the ground, the Fox felt better seated on my elbow.
- SIZING: I ordered Adult/Large for each. My forearms are 12" at the largest point. If I were any larger, the pads would definitely be tight.

Meh.
These are one step up from the elbow pads I had as a kid, and that was 90s tech. The grey is better than the pink (they were my sisters before mine), but that's about it for the good.
The straps are a terrible design. They bind on each other and the velcro destroys the stretch fabric. I've only worn them for a single ride and they have fuzz and strings coming off everywhere.
Not sure how they were designed to bend, because the straps don't hold them snug enough to keep notched on your elbow. I feel like if I fell on my elbow they would slide right off.
Overall I'm pretty disapointed in the product. I didn't expect much at the price point, but at this point I'm calling up my mother and seeing if she still wants to has the pink ones.

Check your Forearm Girth!
These guards flex well and have a good deal of padding. The outer shell contains some semi-functional vents to help make them a bit cooler.
Reading an earlier review (that stated 17"!) I checked my forearm size-I thought I was OK. Turns out that according to the included booklet, the recommended forearm girth for the adult size is 25cm-33cm. At 35cm I find the "moisture-wicking retention sleeve" is extremely tight and the Velcro straps are not long enough to reach without having them too tight.
I am disappointed this sizing information was not listed in the items description, but as long as your arms will fit--these seem like good pads.

Pretty nice for the money
Fit well, stay in place and are nicely hinged which allow good mobility. Mesh sleeve prevents chaffing of the straps. If you have larger arms (17"+) the Velcro bands are a bit short and really need to be stretched out causing a bit of arm pump after a couple hours (should be expected with any elbow pads I suppose). The criss crossed Velcro straps also cause the material to "pull" a bit if you dont have both ends exactly lined up but that is probably mostly aesthetic. Overall quite happy with them.

Good elbow guards
I found these Thor elbow protectors a bit small at first but once you adjust it properly (just play around with the straps) it fits well. Although it comes with an instruction book, it is pretty much useless. The instructions cover every model under the sun except for this one but there's nothing complicated about it.
