Trickstuff Bionol Hydraulic Brake Fluid

Trickstuff Bionol as brake fluid.

The brake fluid used in Trickstuff brakes is Bionol, which is made from vegetable oil and is environmentally friendly.

The low viscosity of Bionol enables an easier flow through the brake system and therefore a constant pressure point and smooth running. Due to its high viscosity index, it is less susceptible to changes in performance at low temperatures. A high boiling point of the brake fluid is crucial for consistent and safe braking performance, even under heavy use. If the boiling point is exceeded, this can lead to the formation of vapor bubbles and thus to a compression of the brake fluid, resulting in a loss of braking power.

The boiling range of the low-viscosity Bionol is between 360°C and 420°C at atmospheric pressure and is therefore considerably higher than that of conventional mineral oils or DOT brake fluids.
